My 7yr old son gets a little stuffed pet dog toy in his McDonald's happymeal. The tag on the dog instructs him to go to "mcworld.com". Once there, he is asked to create a character.
I was shocked to find what appears to be a Che Guevara shirt option. If anyone sees it differntly, let me know where I'm wrong.
I'm sensitive to indoctrination issues.

Is that 'Che' or just a similar shirt? They style of shirt has become iconic, even for those who hate Che.

where are all the “capitalists” and “libertarians” when abuse of power by the private sector gets talked about?

Nah.
I went to the site, copied and pasted the image, blew it up to 1,000%, fiddled with the contrast...all I got was an indistinct image of a guy with a big chin, sunglasses, and his cap on backwards. If you compare it side-by-side with che poster, the images don’t match up.
Sorry...the is the equivalent of Jesus in a burn pancake or Allah in an ice-cream swirl.
Don’t pursue it or you’ll look like an idiot.

Just found it odd that the iconic Che style shirt was an option for kids.

The popularity of Che among the young has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with pop culture. Hell, the kids wearing the shirt probably don’t even know what communism is, but Che looks like a cool dude and so we can be cool too if we wear a shirt with his image.
You will NEVER see a Stalin or Lenin shirt because they are old white guys and dude, they are way uncool man.
