A British woman who went to a Thai nature resort to conquer her fear of monkeys has been savaged by a pack of macaques.

Always check the side effects before embarking on a course of therapy.

Seriously. Why the heck did she feel a need to conquer her fear of monkeys? And to travel all the way from the UK to Thailand in this quest? I think the monkeys correctly sensed that a human nutjob had arrived in their midst, and figured it posed a threat.

Evidently her monkey-phobia was there for a purpose.

I’ve found that my life is not diminished in any way by the absence of monkey encounters.

Good thing you don't work in my building!

I can’t believe it! Seventy-one posts, and no one said, “I hope the monkeys are all right.”

Perhaps she had to move to Philidelphia.

The same thing would happen to a homophobe who goes to San Francisco to overcome his fear of gays.

It was an Engrish menu item that gave me my tagline. I still haven’t figured out what it means.
