In the President's Secret Service
Amazon.com ^ | 8-6-10 | Ronald Kessler

Posted on 08/06/2010 9:07:27 AM PDT by Paul46360

Heard an interview author gave about the SS views on past presidents..
Most liked Ronaldo Magnus, because he treated them with respect.
worst--the Peanut Man because he treated them like hired help, the red-headed step-child.
One example was that Jimma would appear to be carrying his own luggage but it was empty, only did it for publicity. When the camera's were off, he made them carry the real heavy ones.

While the topic interests me, they are supposed to keep their mouths shut. Good bad or indifferent. I do not want the guys protecting any President to have an opinion. I want them to do their job.

Those are the rules when you join. I wish they would adhere to them.

I think Ron Kessler has a book spilling all the inside stuff from former ss agents.

Disgusting breach of honor and integrity.

"Once Obama became president," Kessler says, "the Secret Service experienced a 400 percent increase in the number of threats against the president, in comparison with President Bush."

Wonder what the percent is now, two years out?

Other agents tell of Lyndon Johnson... and how he liked to get drunk at his ranch and then "whiz out on the front lawn."

How earth shattering! More men have done this than haven't.

Disgusting breach of honor and integrity.

Takes a lot to "rise to the level" achieved by Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and now the 0ne.

I don't think he made it.

If they are treated like trash and not security and without respect, we need to know, and they should have a human right to speak out.

It is insanity for these "kingly" elected officials to make our security personnel do anything. Their role is to protect the public official and that is it. They are not baggage boys.

Hillary once hit an SS driver guy in the back of the head with a Bible after church one time cuz he failed to transit a red-light that had been blocked off for them.

Al Gore once said to one of his kids (who apparently hated to study); “You’d better study or you’ll end up like one of THESE guys....”

BTW, can you imagine what Obama is really doing on all those golf outings? The poor secret service and Marine security having to witness who knows what and keep quiet about it.

I feel really sorry for our Secret Service during this administration and any other abusive lefty administration.

LBJ did worse than take a leak in his front yard.

“I’m the President. That’s my prerogative.”

oh, those wonderful progressively communists. They are so much better than us, but then tell us they are trying to help us and have the JournOlist puppets to back them up.

Johnson was arguably one of the worst...

By who, Presidents or the agents themselves?

Veritas omnia vincit

All the phoniness and corruption caused by Presidents need to be exposed (Assuming the info can be corroborated) by any means necessary. Elected officials are servants, not Kings and Nobility by Divine Right.

Actually, that has been part of their job. For a long time.

But, and I am sure you know this, the worst people on “the help” are the folks who never had “ the help.”

Being a baggage carrier is not horrible when the person whose bags you are carrying says “thank you” once in a while.

That said, I firmly believe that the role of the protection detail is to keep their opinions and stories private. There is a reason for this: You do not want the president forgoing his security because of a lack of trust. This will end up getting him killed. And while I hate the man’s politics, I do not want to see him killed.

The detail is not mandatory. If someone wants off, they can get off.

Disgusting breach of honor and integrity.

The USSS has a long and checkered past around these parts. Honor and integrity are not two words I would use to describe them.

The Clintoons were bad as well. Read Unlimited Access by Gary Aldrich.

Along those same lines, another source reports that two Secret Service agens heard Hillary's daughter Chelsea refer to them as "personal, professional trained pigs to some of her friends. When the friends had gone, the senior agent on teh detail tried to scold Chelsea for such disrepect. He told her that he was willing to put his life on the line to save hers, and he believed that her father, the president, would be shocked if he heard what she had just said to her friends. Chelesa's response?

"I don't think so. That's what my parents call you."

Whatever, we pay their salaries, I want to hear all of it, every last detail. They wanted to be president, they should figure that from that day on their life is forever changed and will be pretty much an open book. I can’t even imagine what they will have to say about the trashy idiots that are now squatting in the WH. I’m still wondering why there are so many flies in there now and why they are always landing on Ostinko.

If they ask to get off the detail, do you think that burn their career?
