Officials in Santa Ana today announced the arrest of a man they say allegedly ejaculated into a female co-worker's water bottle.
Prosecutors say the woman unknowingly drank from the bottle and got sick this past January.
Michael Kevin Lallana, 31, and the woman worked at Northwestern Mutual Mortgage Co. in Newport Beach.
Prosecutors said Lallana left the semen-tainted water bottle on her desk, and she drank from it when she returned to her office.
Lallana allegedly repeated the crime in April, after he and the woman had been transferred to the company's office in Orange. Prosecutors said the woman again drank the water and became sick, but this time she sent it to a private lab to be tested.
In June, the woman was contacted by the lab and was told the water contained semen.
Prosecutors say Lallana was linked to the crime through DNA.
Lallana is charged with two misdemeanor counts each of releasing an offensive material in a public place and assault, along with the allegation of committing a crime for sexual gratification.

It should be, who knows what she got sick with! If it’s AIDS I’d charge him with murder.
Attempted first degree murder if he has a potentially fatal disease.
However, don’t rely on the victim’s recommendation of restaurants!
