Who will be the GOP nominee for president in 2012?
Posted on 09/22/2010 6:10:09 AM PDT by Jefferson Liberal
I think it will be Jeb Bush because he is a successful former Governor of a state with no income tax, he speaks fluent Spanish and latinos love him, and he is an intellectual heavyweight.
Who do you think it will be?
TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: 0bush; 2012gopprimary; bds; jeb; jeb2012; jebapalooza; lookatme; n00b; sniff; troublemaker; zotbait

Sorry, I’m new. What rule did I break?

As I start typing and to answer your question of who, I definitely do not have a clue as to who the nominee will be. The ball, for who, is in the people's hands. On prior post I have to agree, and I too would hope another Bush is not the nominee. That said, I do not as of this moment have a nominee in mind, although from a prior post, I too like Mike. But with that typed (said) and the midterms coming quickly, I shall concentrate my thoughts toward said midterms. Could you get back to me later?

I honestly think it will be Palin vs Hillary Clinton.

Yes, Jeb Bush is a frontliner, making himself clearly visible against the Obama admin on a daily basis, and he is essentially the leader of the republican party, so your prediction that he will take the obvious next step and run for president on this tidal of support for him only makes perfect sense.

He knows Bush wouldn't get 10 votes, which is why he is cheerleading for him. Ya think? LOL
Sure has people riled up, though.

Let us not forget that Mr. Bush finished his postgraduate work at the bottom 10% of his class. So he got through it, tough to be booted out.

Daniels is a good man no doubt. I like Haley better because he was a proven fundraiser while at the RNC and we’re going to need someone who has the contacts and ability to raise a lot of money against “The One”. If Daniels were the nominee I would have no problem with that. He has a great record to run on. I love what his nickname was while director at OMB, “The Blade”. Just the kind of guy we need. One who knows how to “cut” a budget...

As governor of Mississippi he has proven to be a conservative stalwart and while things were falling apart in New Orleans, the place were Hurrican Katrina actually hit was Mississippi. He did a magnificent job during that crisis. And the national press said almost nothing about it! Typical.

Its not that you broke a rule per say, it is that you are new and you started a new thread right off the bat.
That’s like walking into someone’s house for the first time and digging through their refrigerator without even sitting down and meeting the owner of the house.
