I wonder why facial hair fell out of favor in the US.
I look at the old pictures from the 18th and 19th centuries and you see these proud moustaches on men (and some women to be sure) and one wonders why this symbol of masculinity fell by the wayside
I still think a well groomed moustache makes a man look very masculine (whereas a badly groomed moustache makes him look like a porn star)

Apparently one needs a cool hat to go with your extreme facial hair. It balances out the look.
