I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that Obama thinks Pelosi will go down as one of the finest speakers in the U.S. Whatever he's drinking I don't want any. It makes people delusional. Reid must drink the same. Why else would he think that "but for him" we'd be in a depression?

I hope that’s true about Tancredo. I’ve been tempted to try to reach Maes’ campaign and scold them for not stepping down. A news report on Fox said this is very personal with Maes and he’d rather see Hickenlooper get it than bow out and concede to Tancredo, because there is bad blood between them.

There were some truly amazing pictures on the UWGB website yesterday of the southern part of the bay......the water kept getting shoved northward by the wind, and you could actually see the BOTTOM of the bay.....
Still a bit windy here but not near yesterday. Very dreary out though. When we came home Tues. there was not one stop light in Lake County that was working.
A lot of the university students head to Madison for the MENC convention........so I will have a somewhat lighter day tomorrow. (Today is a stay-at-home day for me anyway.)

That must have been scary and it is scary to read about it. I am so glad that you did not go on that bridge. I’ve gotten pushed across the road when on a motorcycle. That was surprising enough! But in a car, I cannot imagine.
