A flash mob hit Macy's in Center City on Saturday - 650 vocalists who, unknown to shoppers, had arranged to burst into song at noon.

The Video is AWESOME!!!

I can't see any of the other ones being as uplifting.

Here, the store was decorated for the Christmas season, and then HUNDREDS of people start singing one of the most GLORIOUS Christmas songs.

They could have chosen almost any other Christmas song, and yet they didn't.

At a time when Christ and Christmas aren't politically correct. When Christ has been replaced by Santa, Frosty and Rudolph, and Merry Christmas has been replaced by happy holidays, I find THIS very refreshing.

Oh poo. At Christmas time the store is packed and beautiful. That 650 of them this time were singers is just neat.

Nope, never. I’ll give them a listen, though.

This video- and the ‘flash Brindisi’ one, absolutely drew me in and floored me, as opera never has before. I’ve listened to both numerous times now. Just suddenly appearing like that in a public venue has an immersive quality to it that I’ve never experienced before.

I hope that they keep on doing this!
