Couple walking to bring attention to CO2 levels [calling Al Gore!]

SALT LAKE CITY -- Two Salt Lake City residents committed to telling the public about dangers of global warming are walking 350 miles.

Ryan and Jamie Pleune say their "Pilgrimage for Hope" calls attention to the number 350. It represents 350 parts per million -- the level of carbon dioxide beyond which global warming will become intolerable.

The Pleunes say our current carbon dioxide level measures in at 392 parts per million, and in an effort to bring it back down to 350, they are taking personal action.

"One of the things about climate change is it's just this hopeless thing. We don't see action on the political realm. It's very hard to believe that individual actions will do something," Jamie said.

Over the next few days, the couple will complete the last 19 miles of their 350 mile walk. Tuesday they visited the site of last summer's Chevron oil leak.

I have a much smaller carbon footprint than the average liberal wingnut who believes in AGW. I believe in conservation, not stupid radical environmentalism. Plus the walking I do as part of my commute is good for my blood pressure.

Yeah, but that is good Co2! That is what good people exhale...

(Do I really need to add the “/S”?)

I avoid MSM TV news, that seems to suffice.

During their walk they will exhale more CO2 than normally, thus adding to Global Warming. They should be ashamed of themselves and buy some carbon credits.

"Couple walking to bring attention to CO2 levels"

For cryin' out loud...how much more attention do these people need.

All we've heard for years, 24&7, is "CO2 levels", "global warming" blah, blah, blah.

Many of us are sick of it ...do they hear? SICK OF IT.

Your little computer model theory has been debunked over and over again. It's bogus. It's a sham.

Like an abused husband putting up for years with a nagging, overbearing wife...we're walking out on you. I see anything that touts "GREEN", I buy the product that isn't.

I'm stocking up on incandescents and throwing all of these spaghetti bulbs in the trash. I run my f**king thermostat WHERE I AM COMFORTABLE, I pay the bill, so it's none of the greeies business.

I stopped believing in the tooth fairy many years ago, and I never believed in global warming, based primarily who WHO WAS PROMOTING it...algore. He's an idiot child who lost the rest of his marbles when he didn't win the White House, and he's been flying over the cuckoo's nest ever since.

Please, restore some sanity to this country and soon.

The 350 1010 scammers again?

These are the ones that want to blow up schoolchildren (in a so-called “humorous” way)that disagree with the hoax of man-made global warming:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sE3g0i2rz4w

Talk about beating a dead horse!

Hasn't the flesh come almost entirely off the rotting corpse of the AGW hoax? How many times have the Alarmists had to change the name?

Global Warming: Can't use that because it's been cooling the last 10 years.
Climate Change: Aha! Now if it cools OR warms we win! Wheeeee!
Disruptification: Nobody’s buying either one of the other names we came up with how does Climitizerition Disruptorizing sound? Too long?
Leprechaun Induced Hot-Coldism: People will buy this, a lot of them believed it when we called it “global warming”

*350 scammers climb into their Hummers and SUV’s and drive 200 miles to have some excellent endangered species steak and toast how they've fooled the suckers once again while laughing hysterically*
“Do you BELIEVE they fell for the “consensus” gag!
Remember, gag is a word we scientists, who are WAY smarter than any of you dumb common-folk, use to mean “a scientific data calculation”...we also call it a “trick” BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

I like your assessment of Al “Tommy Flanagan” Gore!

” He’s an idiot child who lost the rest of his marbles when he didn’t win the White House, and he’s been flying over the cuckoo’s nest ever since.”

A large percentage of Inconvenient “truth” was sour grapes about losing the election.

Didn’t anyone notice that he wasn’t a “man of science” when he said that it’s “millions of degrees” 2 KM beneath the Earth’s surface?!?!?!

I wonder what they will do when they learn the CO2 level is near the lowest levels in Earth history.
