The first sentence in the article is the very definition of hypocrisy.
This is actually Lesson One. First, she demonstrates the wrong way to avoid having affairs with your students.
All the “I’d hit it” jokes are har-har-funny.
But look again at that family. At those two little children.
Tell me how you could lie there and “hit that” thnking how those two innocent little girls will forever have their lives screwed up.
Thank you....for seeing the bigger picture. My eyes were drawn to the poor children, and the husband who has to pick up the pieces and try to explain to the girls for the next 15 years.
Says you. I knew some girls when I was going to high school that were involved with male teachers. They didn’t seem to be the least bit victimized, in fact, one of them married the teacher when she graduated.
Considering we are forever being told that females mature quicker than males, I think females are less victimized than males are.

I’ve got to agree here with Trillabodilla...I have a 16 yr old who is not close to being mentally ready for a sexual escapade of this magnitude...seriously folks, some of the stuff your saying contradicts the values of this forum.

Girls get pregnant; boys don’t. Hence, the “crime” is greater. It’s NOT a double-standard; it’s biology!
I wonder if there have been any studies of these women, like were they from broken homes, did they live with one parent or two, were they themselves abused. This is not to excuse their behavior but there must be some underlying cause.
Hard to contemplate what these kids are going to have to go through the next few years—they will be the ones dealing with the consequences of such an incredibly selfish act. These kids will pay dearly for the sins of their mother...

Teachers are authority figures in a teenage boy's lives. Teenage girls are not. Teenage boys are supposed to have sex with teenage girls. Teenage boys are not supposed to have sex with authority figures in their lives.

Maybe the lesson here is that when post adolescent teenagers have consensual sex, there are no victims.

Yep, same at my high school. We joked about it, nobody though it was a big deal. I knew some boys that wanted to shag a teacher or two but they never talked about success with us girls.
Most parents know better.
