Ah, the Grammys fail anyway. Every artist who gets nominated is accused of being old and washed up or not being any good in the first place.

Incidentally, I was surprised that Barbara Streisand was there because I could swear she only performs at Democrat fundraisers.

Yes, you read that last part right. Rihanna was spellbinding for her part in Eminem's ominous "Love the Way You Lie."

The song is popular over here in Russia. Didn't know that Rihanna was the female singer. I always hated the beginning - I thought the woman was annoying - with the voice fluctuation...but I guess tha't Rihanna's style.

Had problems sleeping last night, turned the tv on to check the Grammys and after a while watching it for a while, it confirms why I do not watch award shows. Never even heard of the band that won best album of the year, “Arcade Fire” until last night.

Wife wanted to watch this so we did. The performances were unbearable. It was interesting to note the minority reactions to the country singers winning. J-Lo looked like see wanted to be anywhere but at a show where the hicks were taking all the gold home. Just an observation same for others in the crowd.

I’m looking at seeing who won the awards this year, and the Grammys actually picked good acts this year.

Album of the Year. That’s the biggest one. Others might say Song or Record, but I’d say Album.

And that was Arcade Fire, who beat Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum, Katy Perry. Good pick.

And The Black Keys won. They’re good. I’m not sure who the other choices were, but The Black Keys are a worthy band. They won best Rock Group and best Alternative Album.

And someone I never heard of beat Justin Bieber. I’ve heard of Justin Bieber. Never heard the music before, but I heard that he sucks. But he’s famous. So, this unknown person might actually be good, because she beat a famous person. I might check her out.

Unfortunately, the only English channel I can get is AFN, so I watched the Grammys. I was pleaseantly surprised to find that it was quite enjoyable, all of it.

Among the losers were Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Rihanna.

Every day in every way.

Did anyone else notice the “Don’t Tread On Me” Flag lighted in Red, hanging up high to the left of the stage?

I saw a YouTube video from YouTuber Johnny Paula (”jpizzle1122”) about the Grammys. He mentioned everyone’s favorite ‘WTF Girl’, Lady Gaga. She apparently emerged from some sort of egg cocoon for her number, plus she had on some sort of weird flesh-colored ‘extensions’ on top of each shoulder that made her look like some kind of alien.

Last award show she attended, she wore the ‘meat suit’. This time, it was a giant egg. Meat and eggs? A couple more awards shows and we’ll have a Grand Slam at Denny’s.
