Sorry, but I don’t think I ever heard of them. If I had had to guess, I thought they might have been The Who???? Aren’t they a group? Way back then, I listened to The Kingston Trio, The Lettermen, and even Peter, Paul, and Mary. They came to State right after they started and a group of students got to meet them afterwards. Even have a poster signed by all 3. Was going to see if it were worth anything but my grandson said to wait until the 2 guys passed on! Guess he was right in a way.

Two Words about Justin’s future... “Leif Garret” {;-)}!

wish him no harm adjusting when he loses his fame. Entering one's 20's with a few million bucks that one earned themselves would take some of the sting out of it.

They are the Bay City Rollers, and they were the Justin Beeber of 1976.

I had no idea Emo Phillips toured with Paul, John, and George.

I bet you could review every year since Elvis Presley and find a Justin Beeber for nearly every one of them. Only on rare occasions does a Justin Beeber grow and get better and have staying power. Elvis, The Beatles, and Madonna are great examples, and there are a few others, but not many. I do not get the sense that Justin Beeber is destined for greatness.

like that hannah montana person who wanted a more mature image?
He’s only a kid - a very popular kid. What about the Jonas Brothers? I believe the female teenage singers have a harder time because their whole bodyies change and what they do with those changes is part of the problem. Bieber was raised in a Christian home and has traditional values. Miley (hannah), never clamed to have Christian values so she progressed down the road of “ I am sick of preteen and want to be more adult” road which sometimes leads to poor judgement. Just give the Bieb a chance.
