ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT
In W.W.II, there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for one Minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace.
This has been done before here, and I propose we do it again until the 2012 election night. We'll see if it helped.
If you would like to participate: Each evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00PM Central) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, and for a Godly nation.
I know this sounds corny, but let's do this together, ok?
If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along. And if any of you have special prayers for love ones etc. please pass them on.
Maybe someone can form a prayer list of Freepers where by we are all notified for this, and we can report to each other on the outcomes.
Someone said if we really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.

6 pm may not work for me (I am in the throes of making dinner for a lot of people most nights), however, I do indeed pray for the 2012 elections and will make a point of doing so nightly.
. . . completely omitting our troops in the post, my mistake, but they are included! Also regularly prayed for from the pulpit at our church.
Anyway, the 2012 elections will have an extraordinary impact on our troops and the Wars; so of course it is appropriate to pray for them in addition.

Yes, prayer works. WE don’t always see how it works, but it works.
** That if Obama is a usurper that he be lawfully, legally, and **promptly** removed.
** That the 53% of the population that voted for him can be enlightened and brought to an understanding of the wisdom of limited government based on the Constitution.
** That the government schools be closed that we as conservatives can find a way to offer every child in this nation a private education that upholds the child's specific Judeo/Christian faith and our nation's founding principles.

I have been praying for America every night without fail since the communist started to defeat Hillary (not that I’m a fan of hers, but Obama accomplished the difficult task of proving himself even worse), and I will continue to do so. Timing is a problem, since I have several kids, but I’ll try for 9:00 Eastern when possible.

I too will join you. I also already pray every night specifically for the lawful and immediate removal of Obama from office, and I includea prayer for the removal of every Democrat and “Independent” Senator by name and as many Dem. Representatives as I can remember.
I have been praying for the removal of the Democrats for more than five years.
