The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) papers, leaked ahead of a key meeting in Peru next week, outline the series of techniques in which scientists hope will manipulate the world’s climate to reduce carbon emissions.
Among the ideas proposed by a group of 60 leading scientists from around the world, including Britain, include producing “lighter coloured” crops to reflect sunlight, blasting aerosol “mirrors” into the stratosphere and suppressing cirus clouds.

We don't have money to waste for all of this foolery when good science says there has been no recent warming, and it will probably cool.
And guess which fools (US taxpayers) will be stuck with the tab for this boondoggle?
On the other hand....
...it might confuse space aliens who might be planning to take over our planet. Come to think of it, space aliens might be responsible for global warming. Maybe the IPCC can investigate it?
As long as they get grants, they’ll do/say anything.
They’ve also suggested spraying the sun with black paint, but I see that was omitted from the report.
O.K., and the next step will be to blast our Narcissist-in-Chief into space so he can admire himself in those mirrors.
