Exactly as I predicted. Obama is transparent as fine glass.

In reversal, federal court orders immediate end to ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy(9th U.S. Circuit)

“Don’t worry. Holder will appeal this to the Supreme Court. Obama can’t take credit for an eventual DADT repeal if it’s the Log Cabin Republicans who win the case. Can’t allow that.”

all part of the same strategy for enslavment.

enact the most onerous policies (obamacare, priviledged classes: gays in the military, wall street bankers, union owned gov’t motors), then grant waviers by his majesty’s grace.

it’s all part of the peculiarly american left.

oops, that’s “the american left’s plan.” the point is that you have to get used to *asking* obama for his gracious pardons.

No, only Florence Ballard is dead (back in '76). All the other former members are still alive . . .

. . . oh, sorry; you meant the SCOTUS. Yes, there's that second clause of Article 6 of the US Constitution, isn't there? Never mind the third clause of that same Article, where it points out that these justices are "bound by oath or affirmation to support this Constitution" . . . so how do we the people hold them to their oaths if our elected representatives won't?

With homophile Gates out of the picture (he crucified ANYONE in the military command structure who even hinted that allowing homosexuals to openly swish, flit, float and frig on base and on ship may NOT be a good idea),the brass are safe to express the fact that open homosexual behavior in a necessarily heterosexual masculine world would be disastrous.
Obama now knows that as high a percentage of the military vote AGAINST him in 2012 will match the percentage of blacks that will vote FOR him—in the mid to high nineties.

IMO we were a better nation when our Congress was governed by Virtue and held to the principles codified in fundamental law
Religion,Morality, and Knowledge being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind. ...”When we the people tolerated a government that had rejected these principles-we opened the door to a government reflecting Rome in its decline. DADT was FRAUD, And I pray this foofra about
Repeal will prove equally reflective of Fraud. No government can bestow legitimacy on what is an abomination worthy of death.Sexual Orientation remains among the most profound of human behavioral characteristics.Choosing homosexual sex as
ones orientation ought remain exclusionary to military service.Or we ought NOT call ourselves the United States of America.

It’s pretty long, I’m reading it now. Since the military is ordered by the court to not investiage or kick out any perverts, it’s not a win but at least they’re holding it up for a while.

Court: ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Will Temporarily Stay in Place

Published July 16, 2011

San Francisco – The military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy is back in place for the time being, with one major caveat: the government is not allowed to investigate, penalize or discharge anyone who is openly gay.

A San Francisco federal appeals court ordered the military to temporarily continue the controversial policy in an order late Friday, the court’s response to a request from the Obama administration.

The order is the latest twist in the legal limbo gay service members have found themselves in as the policy is fought in the courts simultaneous to its slow dismantling by the federal government, which expects to do away with it by later this year.

In order to understand the import of the ruling (such as it is) and eager military people quoted you need to read the whole article. Sickening to the max. WHERE ARE THE REPUBLICANS WHO SAID THEY'D VOTE TO DE-FUND THE REPEAL? WHY ARE THE REPUBS KICKING SOCIAL CONSERVATIVES AND THE MILITARY TO THE CURB???

Most in the military do not want mentally ill sex perverts with them in close quarters, in barracks, in showers, as officers, and so on. Many military experts testified to Congress describing the damage homosexuals cause in the military. Why is the GOP DEAD FREAKING SILENT?????

so basically it is a temporary restraining order for gays to stop sodomizing our troops.

But It will go into effect later .. well gives time for straights to burn up some of the time that they signed up for I guess.

What have we come to? :(
