I know I'm in the minority on this, but Pierce Brosnan was my favorite Bond...had the class, the humor, the "Brit grit". I love the four movies he did, especially GoldenEye. Never get tired of 'em.

From best to worst:
- Sean Connery
- Daniel Craig
- Pierce Brosnan
- Timothy Dalton
- George Lazenby
- Roger Moore
The best Bond movies are
GoldFinger and
Thunderball. Roger Moore gets a special thumbs down for playing the role "campy." It's disrespectful to the fans. Play the role straight or get out.
Now for the real controversy. The best Bond Girl:
- Jill St. John
- Honor Blackman
- Brit Ekland

Sean Connery in Goldfinger. Oddjob was definitely a top villain. Although, I did like the one where the villain was capturing the space capsules. Wasn’t there a guy on a spacewalk when he was cut off, or was that just 2001?

While Sean Connery defined the movie persona of Bond, my favorite of all is Daniel Craig. He seems to personify the anti-establishment aspect of 007 and brings a raw passion to the role that I like better than the urbane sophistication of all of the other Bond actors. Best movie, Daniel Craig in Casino Royale.

There is no question that (the original) Sean Connery was the best “007” and the best movie was “Goldfinger.”
To: LostInBayport
“Die Another Day”
also a good one!
Pity when watching it this week all I could think of was Geico commercials

Love those REAL songs. 3rd question: Best Bond Theme.
As you stated From Russia With Love is a real song. But a strong contender is The Spy Who Loved Me (frequently incorrectly titled "Baby, You're the Best").

Shirley Bassey singing “Goldfinger” was my favorite theme song by far.
