Whenever I can’t remember the name of a movie I try to remember who is in it..if I can’t remember their name I look up a movie I know they were in, find their name in the credits on imdb and find the other movie. In this case I remember it was a guy in the movie The Hangover-Bradley Cooper-the movie you are looking for is Limitless.

“Trying to locate the name of a relatively recent movie: The plot line as I remember it from the ad, was that an ordinary Joe, accidental takes a “pill” that causes him to be able to use a large percentage of his brain,”
I take it you didn’t take the pill?

The first thing came to mind was that Algore movie, I forgot the name if I ever knew it to begin with.

FRIED GREEN TOMATOES - I’m pretty sure that’s the movie. It’s either that or the Yogi Bear movie.
