What is Palin doing and why is she letting us down

I have a strong supporter off Governor Palin since 2009. and I have been attacked for that at times here on FR.

It feels like she is leaving us hanging. Those of us who donated money and support to her over the last few years have a right to know where is this going. I used to be angry with the media, but now im somewhat unsure with her as well because she is not fighting back on their side of the 50. She hasn't been on tv debating liberals and getting in the mix. Why isn't she trying to change the unfair media image.

I can't understand why she would let the support she has slip between her fingers. I can't understand why she is not trying to gain more support.

Not one bit. Supporting her is legitimate. Turning her into a cult is what earned the mockery.

She already said they all got in to early. She was never getting in early, it is a waste of money.

Fear not! Folks are assuring us that she'll announce on Saturday, Sept. 17th. Never mind all those other dates certain that came and went, this is really it! They can feel it!

I think she's waiting to see if there's a need for her in this race. It's hard to look at that crowded stage and see where she fits in.

I think she's needed more in electing House & Senate candidates in 2012. No matter who is in the White House, without taking Congress, we're stuck with ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank and all manner of bad legislation passed under Obama-Pelosi-Reid.

She's skipped five debates and DeMint's candidate forum to which she was invited. It's hard to look at that and not think she'd at best be a reluctant candidate.

Bachmann's campaign seems to be flying apart which could give Palin an opening.

I saw her on Greta and I believe she is NOT going to run after that appearance,she used to say you have to make a Decision by October,well its almost October and she did not even Mention that. That was last month and this was last night:

Palin is not "playing the media".

The media and Palin are BOTH playing her supporters like a cheap fiddle.

The "Will Palin Run?" Show is nothing more than a game played by both Palin and the media in order to boost ratings and generate income for both of them. It is no different than the "Where is Natalee Holloway's Body?" Show, the "Who Shot J.R.?" Show and the "Charlie Sheen's Latest Rant" Show.

So, there is your answer, se_ohio_young_conservative.

Why hasn't Palin been fund-raising or acquiring staff to run a serious Presidential campaign? Why has she only been "Preaching to the Choir" in safe FOX News interviews with Greta and Sean instead of debating her media critics and reaching out to voters outside of her devoted fans? Why does she avoid actual competition like the plague?

Because, se_ohio_young_conservative, she never intended to be a serious candidate.

It is not wise to get emotionally invested in a politician and it is especially unwise to get emotionally invested in a politician-turned-clebity-entertainer that has made millions of dollars of personal income doing Reality TV Shows.

You, se_ohio_young_conservative, were used as interactive participant in the latest Palin Reality TV show.

I hear ya...until recently I was as you. I don't like coyness, games, gamesmanship or any of the other reasons more emotionally-invested Palin supporters have put forth as reasons she's doing or not-doing this or that.

So I've been looking elsewhere for a backup and will decide based on declared candidates. If she 'decides' the time is right, I'll decide then if I haven't already made the choice, but I don't think she will. She either stands or falls on her own merit and the determination of her support. Waiting won't improve her chances. Chances are for suckers - beliefs are, and beliefs needn't wait.

She said that she can win. But talk is talk. She has a lot of people in our country who believe in her. She needs to go take the nomination, collect her 300+ electoral college votes next year and go from there

I’d be happy to be wrong. I just got the impression from her first book that she wasn’t planning on running.

I haven’t read her second book so things could have changed.

If she changes her mind, I couldn’t be happier as the current crop does little to excite me.
