I think the primaries are being moved up to force Palin to declare sooner than she intends...

I believe that the ruling class politicians see Palin as a real threat to their status quo, and her postponement of announcing her candidacy as a hindrance to their stopping her.

One way to force her hand earlier than she intends is to move up the primaries.

Anybody else see a pattern here?

The speculation is on teh part of the press. Post 170 speaks to good reasons why she has held back. Among others good reasons.

The peeps most *concerned* are those who don’t support her, or fear her candidacy, so it’s more than accurate to call them PDSers or Palin trolls. Those peeps could simply ignore Palin threads, but they flock to them to disrput, so when they’re called out for it, they claim victimhood or shock.

LOL.

I think she’s running out the clock. Oops, sorry, time ran out.

And it happens over and over. They ignore other peoples freedom to choose, free from their interference. They share that with liberals, agree with them or suffer the insults.

How much is he paying her a year for her nothing interviews.

One million dollars per year. I believe she has a 3 year, 3 million dollar contract that runs till the end of 2012. That contract carries her through the primaries AND the Nov 2012 election. If Palin gave any indication she was preparing for a campaign, Ailes has said he would suspend her just the way he did Santorum and Gingrich.

I’d like to be able to dismiss this out of hand and tell you they’re not that dumb...except for the fact that there are at least a few Republican pols and operatives who are, in fact, that dumb. And even her detractors know it.

If that’s why they’re doing it, it’s extremely unwise. Even to let the thought linger any longer than it would take to say “No, we’re not doing it to sandbag her, Florida just wants to be first-in-the-nation” is brain-dead. At the end of the day, they need Palin supporters’ votes a lot more than they need to stick it in her and her supporters’ collective eye. That’s not a threat, that’s just simple political fact.

Tell you what, they (MSM, PDSers, trolls, dupes of trolls) have gotten so totally repetitive and boring, doesn't even bother me in the least anymore.

Sarah is going to do whatever she's going to do in her own time and way, good enough for me.

Ailes is McGinniss' BF. Where are YOU from?

My guess is that your primary source of information is Katie Couric.

If she's not going to run, then apparently believe that she wants to alienate all her supporters forever.

If you actually believe she is that dumb, then you haven't been paying attention to anybody except Katie Couric and Dr. Phil.

So she's been taking meetings with policy and political experts?

She's been assembling a professional team to help her win?

If she were it would have leaked out.

Either she's not going to run, or she's going to be half-*ss*d about it.

You must be one of those people who thought Fred Thompson was just dying to run for president -- he'd alienate his supporters forever if he didn't, and of course he wouldn't want that.

Here's a tip: not everybody -- not even the politician you make like or admire or agree with the most -- is as keen on not alienating you as you apparently are in not being alienated.

The leader of the people pushing this thing is none other than the grand pubah of RINOs, Mel Martinez. So you tell me what their intentions are when considering his record.

If she were it would have leaked out.

If it had leaked out the GOP ruling class would have cut her off at the knees by now.

You don't get it. The GOP ruling class ALWAYS chooses the candidate. This time it is Milt's turn. He's one of them. He belongs to the club.

If you don't want the same old thing, DON'T DO THE SAME OLD THING.

If Palin was not going to run, she would have said so long ago. She knows that if she strings her supporters along just to let them down, she is done forever.

Just be practical about this; do you really believe she's that dumb?

If you do, then you probably believe a Tina Fey quote is the same thing as a Sarah Palin quote.

LOL, her poker face has you all fooled. She will run. Be patient and watch what transpires. I will be good.

I’ve actually looked at what she’s done and who she is. Have you?

Yes, I have. AS I've said numerous times, she says some things I agree with. However, so do other politicians and quite a few of those don't quite have the baggage she does.

Last time I checked, you don't win with 30% of the electorate.

That’s right, calling idiotic conspiracy theories idiotic is trolling.

Only in your little world.

I’m going to remember this quote when she gets in or not. Either I will bump it so I can laugh at you mercilessly or I will apologize.

She’s not running. You’re going to be very disappointed.

What date is she going to announce?? Well, I can't answer that but be assured I will be watching for her at 8 p.m. EDT a week from Monday. It's the night before a full moon and she just might appear. You betcha!

(and on that day, lots of others will be watching for her too!)
