Really? You’re posting an ad for a disastrously bad screen adaptation?

Correction: a screen adaptation of ONE THIRD of the book, since it was such a monumental bomb that despite its ultra-low budget production values, the producer can’t afford to finish the other two-thirds of the story.

I most certainly am, sir!

Thanks for the heads-up. It's been a while since the movie came our and I've been wondering when I could get the DVD.

According to Amazon it will be released November 8. I will be picking up a few extra to give as Christmas gifts.

Given that it has not hit the market yet, the following must be based on pre-sales...

Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #31 in Movies & TV
#1 in Movies & TV > DVD > Mystery & Thrillers
#3 in Movies & TV > DVD > Drama

I, for one, found the movie an excellent adaptation of the book and look forward to parts II and III.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that part II is already in production or maybe even finshed shooting.

That is my evaluation of part one.

Also, my understanding of the status of part two.
