NEW HAVEN - A 30-year-old woman was killed today in a parking lot at Yale Bowl "notorious" for tailgating, after an out of control Uhaul truck loaded with beer kegs ran over her and two other women, police and other sources said.
This is a big day for the lot because the Yale-Harvard football game is being played today.

The people responsible for this tragedy will all attain the highest positions in our national government. They are, after all, Ivy League educated — which means they are brilliant and know how the rest of us ought to be living our lives.

Drunk, out-of-control U-haul trucks are like those guns that suddenly jump up and start shooting everyone for absolutely no reason. Then it provides an excuse to place more controls and regs on them.
When U-hauls are outlawed only outlaws will have U-hauls!

This reads like a hit piece on UHaul. What if the truck had been a Hertz rental?
I'm Ivy League-educated (at Harvard). Never voted Democrat in my life. I don't presume to tell you how to live your life. Why in the world would I know that better than you? Most FR posters paint the Ivy League with too broad a brush.

Was there someone behind the wheel? Was the truck left in neutral and it rolled away? Was the driver speeding or backing up?
There are a lot of questions I'd like answered before I make a final judgement on this incident.
No doubt, some Democrat legislator will propose legislation outlawing the transport of beer kegs in rental trucks.
