Having said that, I have no problem with whatever physical restraint is necessary if the kid is presenting a threat to himself or others, but how much restraint is necessary for a five year old? And criminal charges?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!
Sounds like he is allergic to male authority figures. What he needs is a strong father in his life who’ll discipline him properly until he learns to control himself.
land-of-the-free alert.
Wow.
I should have been put away for life at that age.
GREAT Profile page Morgana. That’s the RQSR attitude.
This isn’t the first time I have seen stories of 5-9 year olds assaulting cops on FR. lol. Mean little farts. heh
Those cops deserve medals. lol.
He's 5 years old. He's got BRAT disorder. And parents that probably should have stuck with puppies or cats for companionship. Or maybe pet rocks.
This just plain embarrassing to read all of the over educated numb skulls that had to get involved in this train wreck of incompetent parents vs incompetent administrators and bloated bureaucratic system. I'm so glad the government confiscates my money to fund this sort of thing (read: crap).
Flame throwers ready.....the odds that this kid has an organic medical problem are no better than 1 in a thousand, probably not even that.
What’s the sex and size of the officer? UMass recently had a 4 foot 10, Asian, lesbian chief of police (don’t get me started). She would have had to shoot this kid to control him.
You need more apostrophes. It should be:
Ye'a 5 year old's are very dangerou's to cop's
children that are out of control with mental issues can bite and human bites are more dangerous than dog bites, they can also head butt, breaking noses.
Moreover, the child can hurt himself with headbanging etc.
At some point, the officers had to make a decision. I would want to know the whole story of the episode.
Why do they allow frightened geldings who quiver at the sight of a 5-year old to become police officers?
Perhaps one problem is that the schools would rather drug kids into submission than teach them how to live with their behavior.
He needs an outlet for his energy. He needs classes that involve a lot of activity. And he needs good discipline.
Cop is a loser
5 year old handcuffed... What were you thinking officer? No matter what, a 5year old is not dangerous.

I wonder if he had to call for back up?
Reads as though The Board of Eduction needs to be applied to the Seat of Knowledge.
Did the cop shoot the suspect with 22 bullets?
