Frank: It's made from aluminum. Very high strength-to-weight ratio. Kruger: I find your belief system fascinating.
The aluminum pole was apparently chosen as an opposition to the commercialization of highly decorated Christmas trees, and also because Frank Costanza, "finds tinsel distracting."
Kramer: Is there a tree?
Frank: No. Instead, there's a pole. It requires not decoration. I find tinsel distracting.

I’ve been working out all year to prepare for the feats of strength!I practiced the other day. I think I herniated a disc lifting the middle section of my kids' snowman onto the base. Then, in thanks, the little snots knocked it over the second day. Me, I'm still walking with a starboard list.
