Granny Ruth departed this earth for her heavenly home sometime over the Christmas weekend. Heaven's gain is Free Republic's loss. She was a wonderful freeper and friend to many.

This is truly heartbreaking, though she is now at peace instead of in pain. That is the only solace to our pain that will pass eventually.
Alan’s “Ruthless Roundup” section on www.antimullah.com was created specially for Ruth and her great efforts and ability find news.
I wonder if that was the reason that I was unable to sleep over the weekend. She was very dear to us. And very greatly missed.
