Who thinks that they really will be reeudcated ?

Posted on 12/29/2011 2:24:31 PM PST by emax

So there are many jokes and speculations about it, but with the passing of the Cypertrrrorism acts, s. 978, NDAA and other such laws, is there anyone here who truly expects that American gulags will be set up for them, or internment/reeducation camps for posting here or even for just being a member here ? If so, that could mean that anyone, on the right or left, that ever said anything bad about our current govermnent, could get sent to a camp. That could lead to as much as the third or half of the population being sent to internment camps-over 100 million people.

If you do not think it will happen, why dont you think it will happen ? What is currently preventing the govt from becoming a new Stalinist or Maoist or NK-like paradise ? What provisions in the recent laws I mentioned above prevent them from being used to create a dictatorship,, if there are any ?

You lose a ton of credibility when your title is misspelled.

It shows you are too lazy to proof read before posting.

I didn't read beyond “reeudcated”, & for those who do bother to read further, they do so with skepticism.

Not a good way to make your point.

I'm an old dog, and I don't like new tricks. There's more guns in this country than there are people, and they know how to use them. If the powers to be want to “re-educate” people by force, they'll be getting a lesson on the second amendment they won't soon forget.

In 2009 an undercover FBI agent who had infiltrated the Weather Underground said, “”The most bone chilling thing Bill Ayers said to me was that after the revolution succeeded and the government was overthrown, they believed they would have to eliminate 25 million Americans who would not conform to the new order.”

In that case, killing Bill Ayers would be an act of self defense and justified homicide.

The problem is not mass internment camps, which is truly a “straw man” argument.

The problem is that the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Terrorists (AUFA) part of the NDAA clearly states that the president and an indeterminate number of subordinates can, without *any* probably cause, indictment, arrest or conviction, detain anyone *indefinitely* on a whimsical basis.

Notice I did not use the word “terrorist” other than in the name of AUFA. And this is the problem.

With the Patriot Act, many “antiterrorism” laws and regulations were expressly *intended* to be only for use against terrorists and their supporters. However, today they are used almost exclusively, or in some cases, exclusively, against Americans for non-terrorism related reasons, and in some cases, for no reason at all, but almost in a random manner.

The AUFA gives the congressional seal of approval on this.

As such, it is an unconstitutional and illegal law. Even Abraham Lincoln’s suspension of Habeus Corpus during the Civil War was clearly temporary, and even then it was whittled down for being an improper and unconstitutional action.

Is America seriously facing a crisis threat from Islamists as bad as the US Civil War? Even if they managed to obtain some dirty non-fission nuclear or chemical weapon, they could not possibly cause a fraction of the destruction and death caused by the Civil War.

So why has America descended into legal depths not seen during our wars, hot or cold? Must we surrender everything it means to be as Americans just so our government can go beyond authoritarianism into totalitarianism?

They don’t have to put that many in camps to accomplish their purpose. A few million in camps or disappeared or simply killed will get them the results they want.

Re-education camps? The best person to direct this question to is Michael Rivero. He’s got all the inside info on the camps, the helicopters and the white unmarked vans...........We are so screwed!

here, also:

“Washington, DC – FBI Agent Larry Grathwohl stated that Weather Underground terrorist and violent criminal Bill Ayers was planning on murdering 25 million American citizens, with the help of his cohorts.

In the 1982 documentary No Place To Hide, the law enforcement official detailed how he spent numerous time undercover in the dangerous communist group, acting as a “courier” between the leadership and the footsoldiers.

Agent Grathwohl documented how the psychotic communist Bill Ayers was ready and willing to murder 25 million American citizens in order to overthrow the constitutional republic of the United States and institute a communist dictatorship.

Grathwohl also stated that Ayers’ wife Bernadine Dohrn, Mark Rudd, Linda Evans, Jeff Jones, and many others were also ready and willing to kill innocent American citizens in order to become leaders of the new communist dictatorship.”

Strange thread. IMHO it would be difficult to re-educate folks with guns. They will have to kill them in another civil war. However, the UN does want to decrease the population. I would think American Patriots would be the first they would get rid of. Why re-educate when killing is easier and less costly...

A whole list of things would have to transpire for that scenario to take place. Under the current regime, it could happen if we are suicidal enough to put Obama in office for a second term. Lets hope America is looking at the big picture.

And this POS walks freely in the halls of power, while we have Marines being tried on trumped-up charges of war crimes.

That could be true, however I have heard that now there really are plans in place to disband and eliminate the UN in its entirety, so that the UN cant be the one that starts policing Americans. I guess it became too obvious to too many people how much of a tragic joke they are.

Well, if such a thing were to actually occur, next would be lining all the tinpot revolutionaries and intellectuals up against the wall and shooting them.

It’s such a mixed bag for progressives when they finally arrive.
