Once again, alien conspiracy theorists have attempted to use publicly available NASA images to prove that the space agency must be engaging in an elaborate UFO cover-up. And, once again, they've been foiled by the laws of physics.
This time, they called attention to peculiar new footage captured by a telescope onboard NASA's STEREO-B spacecraft one of a pair of probes parked on either side of the sun which, together, provide a 360-degree view of the inner solar system. The footage shows Venus, Earth and, on the opposite side of the field-of-view, a mysterious triangular object headed our way.

I don’t believe the government would be honest about UFOs or asteroids or anything else coming toward us.
The UFO’s ETA is 12/21/2012.
“The UFOs ETA is 12/21/2012.”
Yikes! That’s the same day the world is supposed to end!
It wasn’t a weather balloon? Dammit!
Agreed, although I don’t believe in extraterrestials. You’re right, though, that the gub’mint would lie and obfuscate over anything at anytime that might paint the current crop of criminals in a bad or negligent light. That’s not to say, however, that they could keep a secret - that, after all, takes character, discipline or extreme unction to remain silent and too many critters feed in DC troughs to not find one or more nightengales. More likely, every whore in on a secret only has their price to guard the truth (if there is such a thing there).
I surprised they didn’t say it was a muslim space thinge.
Are we doomed ?
Swamp Gas!
I will believe in ET only when he shows up in being, or when we detect radio signals from another world.
Reported ET UFO sightings, in my opinion, are nothing but
nonsense, imaginations, or fraud.
I figure the nearest possible ET world is no less then 11 light years from Earth, and probably much much farther.
That is a long time to travel, even in first class ;).
Nonsense, it's my birthday and the Mayans knew darn well.
I believe the explanation, the triangle shape is simply to perfect, and the sides too straight, for it to have been something that was imaged from millions of miles away.
As my late father used to say about one of my uncles; that man would climb a tree to tell a lie if he could stand on the ground and tell the truth.
That is our gubmint personified unfortunately. You know if you could look out the window and see the UFO hanging in the sky, those a$$ clowns would still be telling you it was a weather balloon or some other horse-pucky. Who you gonna believe? The gubmint or your lyin’ eyes? LOL
If the government did have Top Secret files containing irrefutable evidence of the existence of UFOs, and the information was being kept from the public because of national security concerns, don’t you think the Democrats would have leaked it to the press by now?
If you as a person believe in God and the Bible, how else would these beings travel “to and fro”? God himself visited Earth on a vessel, with his throne on board. Ergo, there are celestial beings, they travel in “craft”, and we await “visitations” from several “beings” in the future. To those that think D’s and R’s would spill the beans about extraterrestrial life, give me a break. Knowledge is power, once that power is used, it no longer belongs to the holder of the knowledge. I would no more expect the truth from our government about anything, than from CNN.
