It's time to resolve the problem at the top and quit picking on the kids, in hopes some vague message trickles up.
Are you among those upset with the Girl Scout promotion of Planned Parenthood and boys joining Girl Scout because parents nurture the confusion of a 7 year old?
There's been a recent campaign on the internet, to show those Girl Scouts just how upset we are by boycotting the annual drive to raise money for the Girl Scouts, buy refusing to buy their cookies.
After all, 90% of the proceeds go to the upper strata of Girl Scout Management. So, after all the brave posting, promoting the boycott, how many of you have actually been able to look into the eyes of those young Girl Scouts and turn them away?
Or maybe you're really committed and you've explained to them that they have corrupt adult management......?
We need a national campaign to replace Girl Scout management and policies. It's time to overcome the bullying of the ACLU and the anti-American, anti-Christian culture, seeking to destroy all that is right with America.

Not really. Local troops only receive about 10% of the proceeds. The rest trickles up towards the national level

Some of my favorite childhood memories are from being a GS, but it’s been infiltrated by liberal NAGS, baby-killers, and dirt-worshippers.

This same daughter is also a Sunday School teacher - a born-again Christian in a fundamentalist church. Do you really think that she is teaching her girls anything immoral?
And, no, keeping the girls out of scouts is not doing them a "favor". These girls are still getting the same things from scouting that you and I got as girls. If anything, the troops have become more service project oriented so they are getting more.
I once was told that without the lesbians, the upper organization couldn't operate. What appears to have happened is that lesbian/leftists were willing to work cheap in exchange for being in an accepting organization where they would be working with other women and girls, and could further their ideological agenda.
That's the vulnerability of "non-profit" organization -- they look for people willing to work cheap, and what they get are ideologues determined to take over.

It, fortunately, saves lives of unborn children and I haven’t bought anything from the GSA in years because of it.
Girl Scouts are in line with what is going on in our public schools.

GSA requires all who fall under their umbrella to read liberal feminist literature, as well.

Yes, that philantropist business model is quite abused by greedy incompetent people. Almost like a political good looks or money laundering scheme.. It’s bad.
In Practice vs. business sense, an investment should be about the product. Why businesses who know how to invest in a product err and give away their moneys in philantropy in manners that opposes the very successful manners of good all around business?
PR and guilt for what?
If the girls and mothers in each GS troop keep receiving the same message that the public is not going to support their organization because of how corrupt it is then this might force some change at the top by the collective outcry of the GS troops. I doubt any changes would be anything meaningful and long lasting.
Best to stop feeding the beast and let it die a death like the Dinosaur Leftist Media.

I always check out my childrens’ moral advisors and religion teachers. It is ultimately my responsibility. Large organizations are full of people and people can behave in ways counter to what their organizations promote.
When a catholic schoool houses a GSA group and I tell the pasotr to beware, he can either listen to me or find out later, it’s up to him. It’s up to me to realize what my children are learning, not him.
GSA promotes abortion. People can cloak it in green velvet, but the girls have been unprotected by their parents on this.

How do people get elected/appointed to the regional councils? Is it a top-down power structure, or do local troops have a vote? Perhaps the Girl Scouts need a Tea Party phenomenon.
You can keep your daughters there, but know the situation is fluid and that they could become hostage one day.
It’s like when the new school teacher comes in and everyone welcomes her, and then everyone does not find out but too late that she is subverting the parents.
As for the fear of them growing up too quickly to the realities of corruption in school, it’s a tough thing as a parent. What do you do? Teach them yourself about sex early, burdening them and looking bad to the risk of CPS going after you, or let the perv. schools do it?
Yeah, this is a hostage situation of damn if you do, damn if you do not.
The key is to give the child the chance to grow in a structured way, answer questions, with a chance to survive the event and dominate/lead instead of being dominated and being subservient in the perceptions.
I could send my daughter to a bad chapter of girlscouts, but with the expressed pride that she too can make her own decision and not to have to follow the herd and the herd maker. It’s there for her and not the other way around, and she is a member of the scouts just as her scout leader is.
Perception games like these are important to teach them before they have to face future institutions and bosses and ideas, so they do not get impressed by them.
They method is to gradually gain control of boards of directors and then select executive directors and then gradually revise policy till the desired end is reached.

The control is such that only a revolution and complete scouring of all organizations will cleanse the nation of the liberal filth.
At the local level it is all volunteers. There is no voting.
Yesterday a Girl Scout, her mother, father, and brother approached my door. They asked if I wanted to buy cookies. I asked if I could make a donation instead. They told me I could donate and cookies would be bought for the troops overseas (having been deployed to Iraq, I contemplated this momentarily).
I told the mother, I didn't support the views and agenda of the upper management of the Girl Scouts. I didn't want the girls to suffer, I know they used the money for their activities...I wanted the money to go directly to them and could I donate to the troop without the money going higher.
I didn't go into the details as to why I didn't support the higher echelons (I didn't think it was appropriate in front of small children). The mother looked at me like I was from outer space; she obviously had no idea what I could be possibly talking about. I think she also found it odd I didn't want anything in return for my donation.
However, she stated that, yes, I could donate directly to the girls. I donated $15 for which they said thank you and left.
There is another lesson that can be learned here by the girls....not compromising your values, not punishing the innocent, and the kindness of strangers.
Perhaps the mother will investigate further as to what I could be talking about and move her daughter to an alternative organization; perhaps not.
Count me as one...No actually, it was the girl's father...Girl Scouts don't sell cookies...Their parents do...I know...Been there, done that...
Nice try, but there’s no other way but to hit them in the pocketbook, because that’s all secular leftists will respond to.
In today’s America silent prayer on public property near an abortion mill gets you close to being in trouble with the law. The homosexual mafia has all legal avenues of redress blocked so the only option left is money.
