An O'really? poll.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

I wouldn’t want Chris Christie as president but I think he might be ideal as a VP simply because getting things done in congress is a big part of what a VP does.

Marco Rubio because I read today that obama is sending an army of his men down there to ensure his win.

If I were king and could control the outcome of the election in November, I would opt for a staunch conservative in the mold of Mike Pence or Tom Coburn or Jim DeMint.

However, I’m not king. The VP is largely ceremonial unless the President dies or resigns. Traditionally the VP slot has been reserved for someone who could either bring in the electoral votes of a particular state, or someone who could balance the ticket ideologically in order to bring in more votes across the board. In that light, we might be better off with a more moderate or liberal nominee such as Mitt Romney, or Chris Christie, or Mitch Daniels.

Of the four listed, I would probably opt for Rubio, since he might secure Florida for the ticket. Christie would be my second choice. But, if I were king and could control the outcome in November, among the four it would be Sarah.

I really don;t understand the big push for Rubio. No doubt he is a rising star, but he hasn’t even completed 2 years as a Senator.

As far as the fat man from NJ, you can have him. He is nothing but a RINO w/a few one liners and an obnoxious personality.

There is NO way I will ever vote for Rubio as VP or President. Just because obama got away with it does not mean that I will violate my oath to the Constitution and vote for someone that is NOT eligible. Rubio is NOT a NBC!

Don’t really give a crap.

How about we select a viable nominee first and then worry about who the running mate will be...

I’m sure the rinos are trying to figure out who conservatives want as a v/p because that is the bone they will throw us, since they are pushing romney. I don’t care who runs with romney-he won’t get my vote. Third party.

Besides, Senator Rubio has already said he won’t run for V.P. I wonder if Romney is thinking of Jebbie for V.P.
