You select the target and bomb size. The website shows you the results. In other words, when the Russians attack, how far away from a big city do you need to live?

What’s the typical yield in a russian mirv?
I thought they use smaller bombs than before since accuracy improved

Used to be 100kt-200kt from a Typhoon sub (that I read anyways).

SS-27 Topol-M - 600kt or so per warhead. I have read they have single and double-warhead models; don’t know for certain.

Have your go bag ready if you hear anything about a major urban renewal project. I don't think bulldozers will be enough for Detroit.

hmmm, I just tried the tsar bomb on Mecca, and I then zoomed out a little.

Israel is going to need a lot more firecrackers to take out the whole Islamic world. http://nuclearsecrecy.com/nukemap/?lat=21.421893146242027&lng=39.826025925292925&zm=5&kt=100000

As for our nut president wanting to slash our Nukes, if we get down to 300, some commie dictator in China or Russia or Iran is going to get the wild hair that they might be able to survive while taking out the USA. That is why MAD was so important. Nobody had delusions of surviving.

I'm relatively safe, I live about 12 miles northeast of Detroit.

The standard for Cold War planning was the Teledyne-Brown raid, modeling a Soviet attack on the U.S., involving about 6000 nuclear weapons, more or less all at once. IIRC, the Detroit area was one of the prime targets, receiving more attention than just about any place except Washington, DC. I seem to remember in excess of 100 rounds targeted against the Detroit area. 12 miles NE of Detroit would be indistinguishable from ground zero.

But since the MAD Mullahs don't care about surviving, all bets are off as they seek final martyrdom taking as many Israelis and us with them as possible.
