Does anyone really care about another Titanic show? I think everyone is bored with this by now.
We, as a society, need to agree that the whole “Titanic”...”vampire”....and “magical children” memes are over.
And werewolves, too.
I was reading the article preview looking for a punch line. I didn’t think they were serious.
“From the Oscar nominees who brought you Godfather III comes a ....”
BAH HUMBUG
Did you have to go and ruin it for the rest of us ???
I’ll take a guess on what happens in the series...the ship gets hit by an iceberg, 1500 people died and Stanley Lord of the Californian becomes the most hated captain even before the Italian cruise ship line disaster.
Why do a mini-series about a ship that sank 100 years ago when we could use Costa Cruises for reality TV shows?
sorry
They have completely run out of ideas.
I’ll watch. I’m hooked on Downton Abbey.
LOL, when I looked at it I see an add for Carnival Cruise Lines.
Cool. Something else to depress Americans and help take their minds off the cost of a gallon of gasoline. However, I don’t think I can take another “Titanic” movie. They’re about as much fun as slitting your wrists.
please dont tell me how it ends!
i can’t wait for the lusitania series.
Agreed. And usually without getting a hair out of place or a scratch on her.
Agreed, although I think that happened in Hollyweird about 20 years ago.
Hasn’t that subject been beat to death? I wouldn’t watch if Geraldo Rivera found the Titanic in Al Capone’s vault.
No. 2,000+ people, each one is a story, whether they lived or died.
There is an interesting book on Lord and the Californian.
Some of the premises:
1. The Californian was much further away from Titanic than estimated.
2. The Californian was on the west side of the ice pack and the Titanic came racing up from the east.
3. There were several other ships in the area including a seal poacher who moved away from the area, not wanting to be identified.
Lord was a long time very highly rated ships captain. He may have gotten a bad rap on this one.
ha,ha, thanks for that clip. That made me laugh hard.
How about the “every large American city where -detectives-judges-prosecutors-attorneys-forensic pathologists- and computer experts are mostly female” meme?
i’d rather see something about the Sultana riverboat explosion which left a death toll similar to the titanic. 1400 vs 1500 iirc. but nobody knows about it...
Downton Abby is “Upstairs/Downstairs” on steroids.
Great show...
Yes. :)
Everyone should know about this, I think. Lots of negativity here, but maybe for us Titanic lovers, it could be interesting.
