I am writing to express my disagreement with your decision to stop advertising on the Rush Limbaugh show for comments he made last week. It is my understanding that he has apologized for his comments and to Ms. Fluke. Your decision to pull your advertising in such an abrupt manner was both unnecessary and provocative. I believe you overreacted and as such I cannot in good faith show my support for your biased company and your irrational decisions. I note that Carbonite still advertises on the Ed Schultz program even after Mr. Schultz called Laura Ingraham a "slut". Because of your extreme, and hypocritical, views on civil public discourse, I will not be renewing my two Carbonite subscriptions effective immediately and I will recommend all of my friends and family do the same. I hope you reconsider your decision to participate in this left-wing radical sponsored boycott of Rush Limbaugh. Just remember, you aren't the only online backup company around.

Good for you!! Because of this I decided not to subscribe to Carbonite..Have a good lawyer so don’t need Leagal Zoom, and have a great Tax gal so don’t need Quicken...and if Sheri’s Berries gives him the heave ho I will give them the heave ho..
I cancelled my Carbonite account today, was lucky, only had 20 more days left before renewal. I told them that I didn’t like their politics and that I wouldn’t support a company that won’t support the first amendment.
It is infuriating, the hypocrosy of the left, however we do strive to live in a civil society and we must therefore act accordingly. By apologising, Rush showed that he is still above the fray, imho.
Way to go manovark and freepers. Also, lets remember to pray for any decent Conservatives that might be working for them, as their jobs could become tenuous as this company plunges.

You can pay them for cloud storage or you can use their tool for free to backup to other computers either inside or outside your home.
Wish you had added something to the effect that “your willful participation in a direct attack on free speech is disheartening. Further, your choice to be politically motivated makes me unconfortable with your possession of my confidential data.”
I started my trial today. Hope to ditch Carbonite in a week or so once I test it out.
