Obama realizes the end is near and accepting the inevitable sings about the death of his health care plan.
You can watch the video HERE
thanks for posting. will watch later.
Bookmarked to share later when we know its really dead.
I remember watching this video, after the Scott Brown victory, and we really thought it was the week that Obamacare had died.
But still I knew it wasn’t dead in finality. We had to get the 3 or so months out to the point where the pre-Brown passed Senate bill would expire. I knew it just wasn’t set in stone dead, but there were so many conservative talking heads that were talking like it was fully dead, it was bothersome.
I remember one that really got my craw. Fox’s Dana Perino. Asked by Hannity about the fate of the bill, she said without hesitation “DEAD!” I knew that was a mistake. She should have said we have to be careful about the devious Dems, if we are not careful they may find a way to sneak it through. But no caution on Dana Perino’s part. Perino is bad.
Moral? Don’t get overconfident about anything this election. About Obama losing. About congress, about even that Obama will voluntarily depart the White House after a defeat. Be vigilant.
Hopefully Paul Shanklin is seeing the future accurately here, because Obamacare unfortunately hasn't died quite yet.
Supposing the SCOTUS doesn’t strike it down, it will be a Republican election issue. Supposing they do strike it down, SCOTUS will be a Dem election issue that won’t hunt.
Yes, but a candidate Romney would be hamstrung in debating it because of his ugly history with RomneyCare in Massachusetts.
Supposing they do strike it down, SCOTUS will be a Dem election issue that won't hunt.
Striking it down would work to a candidate Romney's advantage. It would take some of the onus off RomneyCare. He need not say much, just sit back and let Obama look like the demagogue that he is in blasting the SCOTUS for its ruling. That won't hunt, as you say, because all polls show the electorate opposing Obamacare by a wide margin.
Quite right about Romney being unable to capitalize on Obamacare. All the more reason to not nominate him.
