Two of my cats I cured of love-biting by grabbing their muzzles and saying "NO!" when they did it. They got the message.

The third I cured by accident. I had her on my lap when she latched on to my hand; reflex action caused me to jerk the hand and send her flying across the room. Kitteh unharmed; lesson learned.

Filing away for future reference.

I found that ‘flicking’ them on the nose generally cures them in one episode but I’m all for less if it works (grabbing muzzles...hmmm).

lol poor flying baby... :)

I’ve only had one cat, a mutant 20 lb orange tabby from Hell who appeared in my driveway one rainy morning as a sweet little kitten. Very smart and mostly amiable cat (taught him to sit, shake, could be summoned with a whistle...taught himself to use the toilet all on his lonesome) but would lose his mind once in a while. Almost 15 years later I still have a pretty wicked scar on my right thigh from that SOB.

R.I.P, Buster.
