Only global poverty can save the planet, insists WWF - and the ESA!

Extremist green campaigning group WWF - endorsed by no less a body than the European Space Agency - has stated that economic growth should be abandoned, that citizens of the world's wealthy nations should prepare for poverty and that all the human race's energy should be produced as renewable electricity within 38 years from now.

Most astonishingly of all, the green hardliners demand that the enormous numbers of wind farms, tidal barriers and solar powerplants required under their plans should somehow be built while at the same time severely rationing supplies of concrete, steel, copper and glass.

The WWF presents these demands in its just-issued Living Planet Report for 2012. It's a remarkable document, not least for the fact that it is formally endorsed for the first time by the European Space Agency (ESA)..."

Billions of poor people in mud huts, crapping in the woods and burning dung and scrap wood to keep warm will do wonders for the ecology, not to mention women's health.
We once invented civilization to get away from that lifestyle.

WWF=Loons. They should all be forced to “get a life”. If they refuse, throw them out of the country. They want poverty, send them to North Korea or Kenya.

I guess the ESA is getting the economic growth they want in the EuroZone!! /s

citizens of the world's wealthy nations should prepare for poverty and that all the human race's energy should be produced as renewable electricity within 38 years from now.

ESA, are you in the renewable energy business??? I didn't see you on the GREEN JOB SCAM the AMERICAN TAXPAYERS lost money on.

Most astonishingly of all, the green hardliners demand that the enormous numbers of wind farms, tidal barriers and solar powerplants required under their plans should somehow be built while at the same time severely rationing supplies of concrete, steel, copper and glass.

How should we build these wind farms, tidal barriers and solar powerplants WITHOUT concrete, steel, copper and glass??

Of course one has to understand that said Green Messiahs will be exempt from such rationing. The elite will, of course, still maintain a good civilized standard of living. It’s just the proles that get stuffed back into the Dark Ages.

Honestly, this still have to be publicized more so these people can be tarred and feather by every rational community and run out on rails.

Only rich nations can afford to implement environmental controls on industry, if they even have to will to try. Something to ponder for the Enviro-wackos out there. In all my travels around the world, the USA is the cleanest country with the lowest pollution that I have visited.

So this great push to destroy free Capitalism WILL destroy the planet in the end. Fascist states have no will, Communist states have no resources to waste on not exploiting the environment.

Every pound of steel not mined in America is mined elsewhere under much laxer enviromental rules or cares. The enviromental movement is not about saving the planet, its about destroying freedom for mankind. If it was about the planet, we would work hard to make darn sure all mining was done in America, to American standards, all logging was done here where it would be done in a sustainable way and all farming done where it would be done without radical poisons.

But that is not the focus, the focus is in stopping the clean industry to favor the dirty ones. Power and greed are the prime motivators for the agenda, as the fruits of it make obvious. I judge not the sheep, but the Shepard's of the movement. The sheep have only the collective mind, its the wolves that show the true intent. Ie. Gore and his adultress flying in their private jets to the Antartica to protest global warming and carbon usage.

What does this mean?...

Human demands on the planet exceed supply.

It means that the leftist pea-brains of their understanding of nature has exceeded their capacity. Natural resources from energy to food to natural building materials, et cetera, are naturally renewable. Earth's supply is renewable.

The socialist-idealist left has long embraced some very weird ideas, that keep cropping up time and time again, by all appearances, independently of each other, which suggests an underlying pseudo-logical chain of thought that leads to the same bizarre conclusions.

One of these is the “1-in-10” idea, that is a reoccurring motif, with several variants. One is that they, the socialist elite, are the top 10% of humanity that should rule over the other 90%. This predates even the name “socialism”, and can be found in the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson and the slavery apologist George Fitzhugh.

At the same time, the “1-in-10” idea also applies to the genocide of the human species, that 90% of people should be exterminated. People like the radical environmentalist Dave Foreman, of Earth First!, and Dr. Eric Pianka who proposed wiping out most of humanity with ebola, are in this group.

Another motif is the “state of nature” theory. Originally it was part of a twisted philosophical rewriting of the Bible, though not an actual book, with mankind taking the place of God. The “state of nature” replaced the Garden of Eden, with man being expelled from nature because he has embraced the ideas of good and evil, which have led to industry and machines, intellectualism and culture, taking us further and further from this state of simplistic virtue.

Ralph Waldo Emerson was also a firm believer in this, but modified, so that instead of living like an animal, man would live in isolated, rural and communal villages, never developing or changing. The job of the elites would be as itinerant travelers, who would go from village to village, keeping the locals from ever improving themselves.

Other believers in this include Dave Foreman, and many others who embrace this Luddite idea of the ideal future.

Add these two really awful ideas together, and you see the “idealism” of socialists, as well as communists.

So there “agenda” amounts to three things:

1) Wipe out 90% of mankind.
2) Destroy all civilization, culture and history, and keep it destroyed.
3) Rule over the remaining 10% of humanity, as the 1% over the 9%.

Yes indeed! Peace, Poverty and more Poverty! AND a new lib buzz phrase: “- - - “equitable resource governance” or ERG.

BTW, the last I checked erg was a unit of energy.

Sorry for the digression! Okay, the WWF says all of us have to join hands and hum in unison. WOW! I can hardly wait!

Oops! Who is going to be the “Governance” who metes out the “Resources” in an “Equitable” manner?

How will his/her Governance force us to do what we refuse to do?

Hoo-boy! There are a lot of problems that have yet to be solved!

Well, the WWF will find a welcome home in our District of Corruption, as that is how our Political leaders have been non-solving our problems for generations!

BTW, BTW, I vote for “The Invisible Hand” to be the new High Poo-Bah Governance.

No! Not the Freeper. You know, the one that Adam Smith wrote about hundreds of years ago!

The damn WWF gets to damn much money. Mostly from the American tax payer, one way or another. And the average joe blow or jane have not a clue as to what has been the thoughts of that organization. The majority of people that are aware of it, and some who have contributed to it via., say Income tax payments owed on their 1040’s are clueless as how these folks want to totally screw America. Dopes abound on the planet earth.

No fires!

Even this grim poverty-stricken dystopia, though, is not the biggest of the WWF demands. The real biggy is that by the year 2050 all energy is to be supplied in the form of renewables-generated electricity, that is by means of windfarms, solar plants, tidal barriers and so forth. For almost all of human history and prehistory we have burned things to generate energy - it is one of the things that makes us human - but now, within a single generation, that is to almost completely stop. After a million years, the fires will go out.

Your Personal Pinwheel will supply power for your (allowable) needs...and, as an added bonus, it also slices and dices...and cooking is not among them: communal kitchens (cf "Amana Colonies") will be the norm, but handing out glops of uncooked gruel & and raw veggies, instead of good German meals.

You can probably hire some people to pedal bicycle type devices that will generate electricity. Only cost a few hands full of rice (oh wait rice culture is a big GHG generator.

No, because its not about the enviroment unless your talking about the enviroment of all out government control over everyones lives. And because of that, we get these flakes that ooze out of some hole and spout utter illogical and unreasoned nonsese. They sputter, they avoid any debate on the last thing they said, the always try to go over the top in an effort to gain attention from the public not to mention instill fear in their hearts as a way to get them to act accourding to these peoples desires for power and control. Furtunatly enough, there is point to how nutty they can sound before that light bulb in the publics mind starts to turn on and ironically that also means these nut jobs will get even more desperate for the fleeting power that they desire and go further of the reservation.

00:13:50 >> Individual has to inspire innovation. 00:13:53 There are things you can do on a small level and large level. 00:13:58 You have to put yourself in a position to innovate and create. 00:14:05 You have to create entrepreneurship, ideas and innovation. 00:14:08 The second step is you've got to make sure that government officials and policy allow for entrepreneurship. 00:14:15 That foster entrepreneurship and don't snuff out entrepreneurship that we will only live by. 00:14:23 >> Glenn: I'll ask you both the same question and start with you, jim. 00:14:26 Do you have faith because i do, faith in the american people. 00:14:34 If the american people were unleashed. 00:14:36 Told the truth and -- because I think a lot of people are awake in america. 00:14:40 They are looking for somebody to tell them the straight truth. 00:14:47 If they were told the truth and the government was responsible and lowered the spending dramatically and lowered the bureaucracy of getting stuff done, do you believe we could turn the corner and turn the country around? 00:15:06 >> Of course, we could. 00:15:08 We have many advantages. 00:15:09 We are a nation of immigrants. 00:15:11 Many foreigners come with the brain and capital as has been happening in america for over 100 years. 00:15:18 We have a lot of smart people. 00:15:20 We have to stop spending the money in the government. 00:15:25 We are running up gigantic debt. 00:15:27 You have to change the tax code to encourage saving and investing instead of consumption. 00:15:33 Nobody got rich consuming. 00:15:35 You get rich saving and investing. 00:15:38 >> Glenn: Del's advocate. 00:15:39 They will tell you, jim, if we stop spending, the economy stops. 00:15:47 President bush said if you want to help the country, go spend. 00:15:49 That's a nightmare. 00:15:51 They say if you do that the economy will stop and we have the great depression. 00:15:56 >> Glenn, it defies comprehension to me that people say the solution to too much debt and consumption is more debt and more consumption. 00:16:05 I can't believe that grown-ups can say something like that and expect people to believe them. 00:16:11 This is madness. 00:16:12 You have to cut spending with an ax, draconianly and you have to change the tax code to encourage us all to save and invest instead of borrow and spend. 00:16:22 Madness. 00:16:23 >> What are you doing in 2012? 00:16:26 We'd like somebody who spoke this language to run. 00:16:32 David, president bush said do out and spend. 00:16:35 >> I have absolute confidence in two things. 00:16:38 Hunger and knowledge. 00:16:41 If people know that spending without receiving, without innovating and growing is only debt. 00:16:48 Spending people's money is worse debt. 00:16:51 I know that will fail. 00:16:52 With hunger comes innovation. 00:17:00 If you look at the hunger, and allow something to die, it will have hunger and it will innovate. 00:17:08 Every recession, following that comes the boon, the huge upside, because people that are hungry innovate. 00:17:14 >> Glenn: When we come back, final thoughts and I want to focus on this. 00:17:17 They say that state capitalism, what a managed economy, china does, is the answer. 00:17:24 I don't think it is. 00:17:25 Two people who spend a lot of time there, and know about america, they'll answer that NEXT.ñUgOyÑ ?oy YéGcÑ0f ñP X L #@ñmdpn-l7o no9ñ ;p TñçwY@@ rñÑ ÷u<@swo;n? 00:22:48 >> Glenn: I'm just saying, that's what I'm hearing. 00:22:51 I have heard -- it's the progressive movement. 00:22:53 State capitalism, the model in china is the future and you can't compete unless you have, I mean honestly, I had a big person in my office and i almost threw him out of my office because he said, hey, the way to solve the oil thing, he said I advise the administration on it. 00:23:08 Dead serious. 00:23:09 We have to take control of the oil companies. 00:23:12 I said, get out of my office. 00:23:15 I mean, this is crazy. 00:23:25 >> It's not going to work. 00:23:28 Only entrepreneurship will work. 00:23:30 China knows it too. 00:23:31 >> Glenn: They say it is working now. 00:23:34 >> But it relies on the fact they're on the greater good. 00:23:39 Confucious and the principles, the good of the larger community comes first. 00:23:44 That is culture. 00:23:47 We start from the bottom with the individual, bottom, the soul and move to greater good. 00:23:51 They start with the greater good and move to the individual. 00:23:53 The individual that does for the greater good is still a culture issue. 00:24:07 >> The one who started this 30 years ago in 1978 said we've got to try something new. 00:24:12 Communism is not worked. 00:24:13 Said I don't care if you call it a black cat or a white cat, as long as it catches mice. 00:24:19 That's the approach in china now. 00:24:21 Forget what they call themselves. 00:24:23 >> Glenn: I understand that. 00:24:25 But it's not really capitalism because the state still dictates. 00:24:29 You can't make a certain level, over a certain level. 00:24:32 Right? 00:24:33 The state still says we're moving in this direction. 00:24:35 They move all of the structure for people. 00:24:38 >> Wait. 00:24:39 They're moving away from socialism, state capitalism if you will. 00:24:49 We are moving toward it. 00:24:55 China will make mistakes. 00:24:58 In the 19th century, we made horrible mistakes. 00:25:02 Civil war, very few human rights and massive depressions " you could buy and sell -- you can still buy and tell congressmen in america but in those days they were cheap. 00:25:14 >> Glenn: We know who they are and we're just haggling over price now. 00:25:18 >> Right. 00:25:19 So china will make mistakes like we did. 00:25:22 We had a great 20th century, though, even after the mistakes. 00:25:25 Don't worry, there will be plenty of mistakes in china. 00:25:31 >> Glenn: I know there will be. 00:25:36 The power they wield -- we have 20 seconds. 00:25:38 Can I ask you both to come back and maybe do another hour with you on the trouble that china has. 00:25:48 I need a yes and no answer from you both. 00:25:50 Chinese officials are worried about instakt in their own country. 00:25:56 They know how delicate the situation is and that they are on a powder keg. 00:26:00 >> Very delicate. 00:26:01 >> So does washington. 00:26:01 Washington is sitting on a powder keg, too. 00:26:03 >> Glenn:@Ño8ú ÷xlU úl-p@=0/yxÑKñú x÷ ço@çDúxÑVutsoMé çzóÑúWs ñ Zog3 cçm?o8÷pvP oñ @xoóçñ÷X Ow ú h çv @Ioç kn:Wo n z n q? Poverty for everyone but them. They need to be able to jet around the world at a moments notice to enforce the lifestyle restrictions on everyone else.

There’s The Party, you see, and then there are The Proles.

Adding to the thread:

“Here is another of the genocidal psychopaths that wish to destroy humanity.

“Interesting twist is that he actually wants to kill “slightly” more than 9 out of 10 people on Earth. But he is definitely in the “self appointed elite who will rule the rest” camp.”

Question:

If someone looks like Ted Kaczynski, talks like Ted Kaczynski, thinks like Ted Kaczynski and (most likely) smelsl like Ted Kaczynski, is it possibly that person is related to Ted Kaczynski?
