Obviously a big point of Obama's campaign is that he inherited all things that are currently wrong with our economy. During the last 2 years of the Bush Administration the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. Did Senator Obama vote YES on every spending Bill during this time? I have been looking for the answer and would appreciate some help.
voting record

What a stellar question. The answer would be perfect for an FR Editorial.
Thank you. I’m thinking of submitting a letter to Ohio newspapers on this topic, I need info.
I believe this is counted by the democrats as half of the $1.3 trillion “bush” deficit inherited by obama
remember that the democrats (and the “Office of the Presdident-Elect”) were frantic to get Bush to release ALL of this $700 Billion BEFORE obama took office, half of it just 3 weeks before obama took office, so he could “hit the ground running” and so they could blame the entire $700 Billion last minute spending on Bush...which the “gentleman from Texas” in typical patrician Bush noblesse oblige, obligingly provided to his good friends Pelosi Reid and his successor
Remember in December 2008 the democrats were frantic to have a huge slush fund of TARP money for Barry to shovel to GM and the UAW even though govt takeover of GM was NOT the intent of TARP when it was voted. But the lame duck Bush obliged them and continues to take the "blame" for the "Bush deficit". Although nearly all of the TARP was subsequently paid back in 2009/10 (not the GM part), no democrats subtract it from the “Bush deficit" that barry continues to claim he "inherited" ”
democrats want us to believe the entire US deficit is caused by "the rich" not paying enough tax - because of George Bush
This is exactly right!!!
When the banks paid back the TARP funds that were “loaned” to them, what happened to this money? Was the TARP funds borrowed by the federal government? When the TARP funds were paid back by the banks did this money go towards paying down the national debt or did it instead go toward new spending?
Good question. But forget TARP I'm more interested in where the 16 trillion, with a "t" dollars that the Fed gave the banks - notice I didn't say "loaned" - went, and whether it was ever paid back. Nothing in the GAO audit suggests that it was. And it was all under Obie's watch, not Bush.
It will take another congressional audit of the Fed Reserve, lead by new Tea Party blood, to find out.
I think you know the answer to this
If repaid TARP was apllied back to repaying the debt, then it would reflect in a reduced deficit
I think this also shows what the democrats will do with any revenues they raise by eliminating “the Bush tax cuts”.. which obama actually owns, because he extended them in 2010
They will simply increase spending
Like a junkie with a credit card - you get an extended line of credit and more money, you pay down the balance? FAT CHANCE
This is one way to to track

Eliminating the Bush tax cuts would slow the economy and actually lower federal revenues. The downside to supply side economics is that it works so well that federal revenues increase and this would further aggravate the federal spending crisis.
and that is why odumbo extended the “Bush tax cuts” in 2010
If he had not reluctantly agreed, the House democrats knew they would otherwise lose big(ger) in the elections
so since 2010, shouldn’t they called “the obama tax cuts”?
With taxmageddon looming this year, it will go down to the wire again
If he wins a 2d term, I don’t think he will compromise again
The weak GOP “leadership” will allow the democrats to raise taxes to avoid total paralysis of the economy through sequestration
The conomy will struggle to remain in recession vs depression
If we make it that far
At this point I just wish the GOP would step up and announce they have seen the light, and are giving obama and reid every tax increase they are requesting. No challenges. Mr president, now you would truly own the results.
Have you seen the CBO “budget” projection for 2013/4? the democrats are projecting over 1.3 trillion in “new” tax revenue by 2014.
Where do the voters think that is going to come from?

Then stand by and monitor the results
