Excerpt....In all the talk about David Maraniss’ new book, “Barack Obama: The Story,” the chattering classes seem to have overlooked the most significant of Maraniss’ revelations, namely that the story on which Obama based his 2008 candidacy is “received myth, not the truth.”

“My parents shared not only an improbable love,” said Obama famously in his 2004 Democratic Convention keynote, “they shared an abiding faith in the possibilities of this nation.” This concept of multicultural romance shaped his persona and his campaigns.

At the 2008 Democratic Convention in Denver, Obama leaped into the story in the very first sentence. “Four years ago,” he began, “I stood before you and told you my story – of the brief union between a young man from Kenya and a young woman from Kansas who weren’t well-off or well-known, but shared a belief that in America, their son could achieve whatever he put his mind to.”

As Maraniss concedes, these two young people shared very close to nothing. “In the college life of Barack Obama in 1961 and 1962,” writes Maraniss, “as recounted by his friends and acquaintances in Honolulu, there was no Ann; there was no baby.”

I’m of the view that it was a zero nights stand. Sr. Obama was looking to up his ability to stay in the US in exchange for providing cover for, presumably, Frank Davis’s child.

If I had to guess, I’d say he was born in a Canadian hospital, as apparently was common in the Pacific Northwest for those who believed in mooching off another country’s free healthcare.

I’d further guess he isn’t by rights a US citizen, let alone a natural born US citizen, unless the law somehow works out that if his biological, rather than false birth certificate, father were American as well as his mother that that would make him an American despite the false claims and living.

Still, I’d guess he’s committed enough fraud from his ss # to service registration that he’d never, ever, ever want that to come out.

Typical communist strategy, make the lie too big to refute, keep the lie in constant speed, even throwing handfuls of flour at a fire will keep it going.

Obama was manufactured to destroy America, he is a termite in our basement, I won’t waste my time any more trying to figure out where the termites come from, all I can do right now is go into full pest control mode.

Its time to get out of the house, seal it up and gas those termite out. The house has been damaged but still repairable.

And then we need to treat the house so that any future termite infestation will find it unsavory thus preventing them from moving back in.

You mean because one street number has an ‘r’ in front of it and other has an ‘h’?

I don’t know why that is. I have been told that ‘h’ stands for householder, and ‘r’ stands for resident.

Don’t forget, I’m an Aussie, we don’t have Polk directories, we have telephone directories, and they show nothing about the listed person’s occupation etc...I imagine you might have a better idea of what those letters might mean?

As to the divorce, Dunham at the time was desperately trying to keep her future husband, Lolo Soetoro, in the country. The INS believed her to be married to Obama. Even if she were not married, a divorce would have been useful to clear the way for a marriage to Soetoro.

On one of SADO's passport renewals, she puts the date of marriage to Soetoro (she's as "forgetful" as Sr. and Jr. on these things) days before her divorce from Sr. was filed. Check her official divorce date and Lolo marriage date. Someone was in a big hurry.

Ah, I was confused. I had been under the impression that Orland Lefforge and Thelma Young lived at the house in 1961. And it seemed plausible they had agreed to rent the cottage to Stanley Ann and BHO, Sr. (although it is a 50 minute bus ride to the U of H). But apparently, although Lefforge and Young bought the property in 1958, they didn't reside there until 1963. And we have the Polk listing showing Stanley Ann's parents living there, presumably renting it from Lefforge and Young. So, the cottage in back, assuming it existed in 1961, isn't all that interesting.

Of course, this also bolsters the credibility of the newspaper birth announcement. There is nothing hinky about the address, given it belonged to the young student mother's parents.

And it is also understandable that the neighbor has no recollection of a mixed-race child, given Stanley Ann would have been there at most a few days, before decamping back to Seattle, leaving the father of record behind to finish his studies at the U of H and the possible father in fact to continue bar hopping with his comrade Stanley Armour Dunham.

Also in REMENISCENCES, iirc, it was the Nachmannofs who wrote that they were all excited election night about Sr.’s son being elected but that they hadn’t even known there was a child.

Maraniss definitively states that “[Dunham] and Obama and the infant never lived [at 6085 Kalanianole].” There was no room. The senior Dunhams shared the house with the Pratt family. The Pratt daughter “has no memory of the Dunhams’ daughter bringing an infant home.”

I read David Maraniss' First in His Class on William Jefferson Clinton, notable for its omissions.

Obama is a creation of myths, a legend in the vernacular.

The photo reputing to show him with the woman Cook is an obvious forgery, his head being thirty per cent too large.

Which his followers find terribly endearing. Beschloss pronouncing his "I.Q. off the charts" while Brooks swoons over the crease in his slacks.

"no memory of the Dunhams' daughter bringing an infant home" is consistent with "the Dunhams' daughter" not knowing how to diaper such an infant.

Likely not the mother, merely appointed caretaker nanny due to Stanley Armour Dunhams' membership in Davis' cell.
