These dogs must be getting pretty old by now.........
We have 3 or 4 pitts that come to play at our local doggie park. None of them has ever shown any aggression that I have seen or heard about—and several of these dogs are rescues from the local dog shelter.

I have seen quite a few dogs that are rescues. It’s amazing how most of them bounce back. Others do not recover quite as well. One dog must have gotten a few (?) major beat downs by her previous owner, who must have been a large male - When she sees me she goes into a hyper fear mode (I’m sort of like a shtput/discus type). And most dogs like me right away.
Lucky pups! They’re rescued at last and in loving homes. Sounds as if trainers and dogs alike had to work really hard to achieve these goals. God bless the lot of them, and may the pups live long and happy lives with their new owners.
Most of the work was teaching the dogs that PEOPLE weren’t going to hurt them.
Animal Planet ran a whole bunch of episodes of Dog Town devoted to these dogs.
Only Rosie, the de-toothed bitch who was frequently subjected to the “rape rack” didn’t get adopted out.
One of the trainers is ‘her person’ and she’s going to live the rest of her life at Dog Town, under his care.
Vicks should’ve been put down.
