For Tom Cruise, 33 is an unlucky number when it comes to love.
All three of Tom Cruise’s ill-fated marriages have come to an end when his wives were 33, which just happens to be a significant number for the actor’s Church of Scientology.
The original membership organization for the controversial religious group, the Hubbard Association of Scientologists, was founded in Phoenix, Arizona, which lies on the 33rd parallel, Perez Hilton reports.
The number is also the known as the “Master Teacher,” which represents altruism and raising mankind’s positive energy in numerology, according to Seven Life Path.
The characteristics of the “Master Teacher” closely resemble the philosophy behind Scientology, which seeks “to enable Man to improve his lot through understanding,” according to the religion’s official website.
Cruise, who joined the religious group in the 1980s, tied the knot with actress Mimi Rogers when she was 31 in May 1987. The two split just a few years later.
Cruise then wed Nicole Kidman when she was 23 in 1990. The actor filed for divorce in 2001 just two months after the pair renewed their vows on their 10th anniversary.
Katie Holmes announced that she was filing for divorce from the star Friday due to “irreconcilable differences.” The couple have been married for five years.
In each failed marriage, the wives were 33 when the breakups were announced. The first two splits weren’t finalized until the wives were 34.
The bombshell breakup with Holmes is the first time the “Top Gun” star isn’t the one filing the divorce papers.
The former “Dawson’s Creek” star reportedly decided to split with Cruise because she was concerned that the actor would “drag” their 6-year-old daughter Suri farther in to the religion as she gets older, according to TMZ.
A rep for Cruise said the actor is devastated by news of the split.
The couple’s divorce, when finalized, will not be recognized by Scientology.
Oh, stuff revealed in session will not be "openly" revealed while you are in good standing. The "ethics officer" may remind you of things, though, when you balk at doing what you are told.

Part of what makes the system work. No one can imagine their own files being abused in that manner.
I really believe that John travolta has wanted to leave Scientology but can’t. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Scientology had a hand in some of the recent lawsuits against John.
It fits the "fair game" pattern. If they get annoyed with you, then all sort of bad things start to happen -- none of which can be easily traced back to Scientology (or traced even with considerable effort -- they've had decades to perfect their techniques).

I took it to mean that when a man who is homosexual marries a heterosexual woman, either as cover for his faggotude, or to try and go straight, it may last a few years, but eventually he acts out.

I wonder now if Katie is the one that realized the 33 age parallel while she was contemplating leaving and synced it all up for Tom as a dagger through the heart. Obviously her soul rejected the evil in total. It is natural for a true Christians in their soul to want to slay evil.

Notice that Katie's minder has been gone for quite some time--my last memory of the minder with Katie was before Suri was born. It would be interesting to look back to see when the minder left. Is the minder a brainwash 'buddy?'

I thought "33" was confined to Vietnam. Back in the day, my partners and I were driving through the bush in northern Cameroun. A building appeared ahead of us. When we got nearer, I noticed a "33" sign on the wall. We went inside and with a ham sandwich, I ordered one. It was surprisingly good. I axed the waiter what kinds of beer they had. He told me that they had foreign and domestic. The "33" was brewed locally; the imported beer came from across the border from Chad, from whence we came. Chadian beer is named "Gala" and it too was a pretty good beer.
It does to me. They are considered that - according to everything I’ve read. It seems incredibly true to me, but I’ve read a fair amount through the years.
