Sarah Palin: Fox has cancelled all my interviews for tonight.
Facebook ^ | Sarah Palin

Posted on 08/29/2012 2:49:05 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

I’m sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain’s positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight.

Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain. Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend.

"What’s up with this??"

It's called "Honor" and "Civility" and "Character" -- traits sadly lacking in most politicians, and, unfortunately, rare now here on FR...

Extending such to deserving opponents used to be the hallmark of decency. Now, even doing it for one' allies is questioned here.

Sarah Palin is a true, rare class act...

Those remaining on FR...???

it would have been a mistake to allow Palin on to sing praises to the mad hatter.

But it's OK when the elite sings the praises about a godless, same sex marriage, pro abortion candidate - I mean romney, not obama. Amazing what you prefer to hear - so much for rational. It's no wonder all that is left is evil to praise - on both sides of the fence.

If McLame is your ally then you are no conservative.

Oh man. They should have let her replace that annoying Megyn Kelly or snooty Peggy Noonan. For the record, I didn’t even watch Fox coverage. Didn’t want to hear the idiotic commentary and see the Hurricane split screen. Watched on CSPAN uninterrupted. Will do the same tonight and form my own opinions.

Well, I can tell you here in Tampa, the insiders do not want anything to do with Sarah. They are holding her mostly responsible for making it difficult for Romney in his little primary (which was all but his). Don't fall for anything they are doing to her. She has them scared of what she may can do. If you are a moderate republican, this Tampa pony show is right up your alley. It is very sad to see what is going on to conservatives. Sarah is a classy lady and owes much to McCain for bringing her into the national stage. She admires his dedication to service. He wants her to speak at Tampa so maybe she's thanking him for doing that. The Gop-e wants her quite. I suspect it's due to where she's standing up about the change of rules and suggesting third party options for the future. She is right; the party machine gave the activists a blow/push back.

And what she was stating couldn’t have been more clear and obvious, either.

Seems you had no problem understand her. And thanks for sharing it.

I'm sure it has something to do w/it - there goes Sarah letting the cat out of the bag for conservatives to hear when Romney is trying to win them over while preventing them a voice last night and hearing from them in the future.

“He used her plain and simple. She needs to open her eyes and realize it and go on.”

Give the woman more credit. She knows that, and returns the favor. Her national reputation is originally due to her VP candidacy. Unfortunately McCain was the other half of the ticket.

Then WHY would they schedule her to do interviews on McCains speaking night in the first place?????

And in the second place, why is McPain even speaking? His speech delivery is not exactly uplifting. He's gonna put everyone in the convention hall to sleep.

I can’t blame them for getting a more relevant person to interview.

You mean one who will sing the praises of Romney? That's relevant to you?

She stands on her own accomplishments - buy a clue!

Romney has no accomplishments FOR America - he only brought filth and socialism to MA.

The reason would Palin’s interview with Megyn Kelley last night. It was horrible.

Palin sounded lifeless, she began by saying good things about Ann Romney, but then veered into negative remarks about her children all being blessed and privileged. Juan Williams got kicked off for making similar remarks earlier, so when Palin did it they had to respond the same way.

Pardon me while I go puke.

Get it out now because you will be filled up, again, before you know by your own hand.

Agreed. The only thing he did in the Navy was get the crap beaten out of him by Democrats for five years. My dad served with him...was a nice guy, but was protected by his diddy’s friends and fellow ring-knockers. Another retired Commander I know personally (was an 18 year old sailor at Kanohoe Bay on December 7, 1941) didn’t like McCain at all.
