Sarah Palin: Fox has cancelled all my interviews for tonight.
Facebook ^ | Sarah Palin

Posted on 08/29/2012 2:49:05 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

I’m sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain’s positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight.

Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain. Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend.

Why in the world should John “I’m really a Leftist Dumbocrat” McCain be allowed to speak at the R.N.C.? This has got to be some kind of sad joke. I actually thought Mitt would ask him to be his V.P., that’s how screwed up I think the world is nowadays.

When she still continues to carry water for McCain, it kills her credibility for me in drips and drabs. I was never terribly comfortable with her for some reason to begin with, but anyone flacking for John McCain at this point in history leaves many questions.

I agree 100%. If she feels so strong about her conservative beliefs then McCain should not be on her support list. He used her plain and simple. She needs to open her eyes and realize it and go on.

I agree and don’t know why Sarah feels the need to praise McCain. He isn’t one of us.

You know nothing! Sarah was the most popular governor in America and was a rising star in the party.....she would have been a huge figure (no pun) like RINO Christie except she would have been the conservative version without McCain picking her. Although being with McCain she had a run in with advisors Steve Schmdits and Nicole Wallace who’s incompetence hurt her more than anything else

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah... Hasn’t McCain done enough to you, and the rest of us? I wonder if she believes he really had no clue what his “handlers” were doing to her during the campaign. I have problems reconciling her statements on the issues and her love for John McCain - it doesn’t make all that much sense to me... [Unless of course she’s trying to keep her friends close and her enemies closer??? Perhaps kissing up to keep herself in the loop???]

I don’t doubt that she has respect for him, I don’t doubt that she wishes him well on his birthday, but why in the world would she be interviewing and making a big deal about McCain when it’s Paul Ryan’s big night?? Like I said, I’m having trouble reconciling these words and actions...

I think there has to be more to the story, and that it has a lot to do with the producers at FOX news - something’s going on, but none of it makes a lot of sense at this point.

They are into gagging who they want to gag and controlling who they want to control. Welcome to the continuance of the obama era.

Actually he [McCain] became a war hero, as a POW.

If the little North Vietnamese grunt manning that SAM site on the day McCain was shot down had better aim, America would have been far better off with McCain permanently interred at Arlington National Cemetery.

McCain is a g*dammned turncoat, and any perceived 'heroic' acts he may or may not have performed as a POW have been made irrelevant by his consistent stabbing in the back of OTHER POWs and their families in the years following, not to mention his never ending assault on the Constitution. As a memory refresher, it was our esteemed Founder who properly labeled McCain 'you treasonous bastard' and he was right then, and he's right today.

McCain is nothing but a sack o' traitorous sh*t and everyone knows it except for the fools who buy into that 'hero' crapola. If it wasn't for McCain's Daddy, he would have never been in a pilot's seat except at the local carnival with the 'F-80 Ride' for the kiddies.

Maybe it’s a typo and she really meant that Fox News banned her because she was going to complain about the GOPe’’s rule changes and how they hurt the Tea Party and conservatives. I think that’s what she meant.

Who wanted her to sing the praises of McCain? Certainly, not I. If she was going to spend the night ripping a hole though Obama, that would be keen but a bunch of interviews praising a party traitor is more than I’d care to stomach.

I love me some Sarah but you are right - if McCrisis wants praise let him come and defend his running-to-lose anti-campaign.

Even Madame Thatcher wasn’t allowed to comment on everything...

Her words were taken out of context IMO. Fox does not want her to complain about the rule changes by the GOP Establishment. That’s what I think. Read it again... between the lines.

I don’t think it’s the desire for “fame” that drives her decisions. I have no doubt that she feels some sort of gratitude to McCain for choosing her, however if she was really seeking “fame” for its own sake there are MANY other things she could have done at this point that would have made her a boatload of money, and would have made her more “palatable” to liberal women as well as the conservatives who already have respect for her.

John Mccain is someone who sold out his party and the State of Arizona GOP.

John McCain needs to retire, sooner the better.

This is Sarah’s true message. Thank him profusely so he will just GO!

Very ODD indeed!

I know she criticized the GOP rules change coup quite extensively last night on the Mark Levin radio show.
She said if it is not Romney, it is definitely his people behind it.

That may very well be the reason.

Exactly! This was a send off message Sarah Palin wanted to send John McCain tonight on Fox News after his wing of the GOP made those damaging rule changes that hurt the Tea Party and Conservatives. That’s what she’s saying if you read between the lines.

Cancellations of “all interviews” means something from the Roger Ailes level, not any individual host or some programming flunky decision. Cancelling a highly-paid Republican former VP candidate commentator on the night of the current VP candidates speech is a Big F’n Deal.

Good point, bigbob. I was thinking it would be some producers decisions depending upon which show she was going to be on, but the inclusion of the word "all" and multiple interviews does hint at something way bigger than being "bumped" off in an editing decision.
