I’m sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain’s positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight.
Granted, our honored and esteemed war hero has gone through much more than the liberal media can ever do to him in their efforts to harm this patriot. I look forward to hearing his words to his fellow Americans tonight more than any of the other convention speeches. God bless John McCain. Thank you for everything. And happy birthday, my friend.

They showed the film clip from four years ago on FOX, the part where Palin told the lipstick on a pig joke and the contrast was shocking. Something has happened to her. She is just not the same person. She has been through so much, maybe it’s time for her to step back and get her life back together as a private person. She was much better off and much happier.
I agree. She’s no longer leading anything, nor even sounding capable of it. She used to inspire me greatly, but now I sort of wince when I hear her. Sad for her.
For her sake and for ours, I think she should consider her 15 minutes of fame to have ended, and retire back to her home and family.

For once she seems to have been too clever to get her message out (>70 000 likes on FB). Without criticizing FOX or talking about being censured, she made quite a few people aware that she had been jus that - censored.
Why? - 1) saluting McCain 2) not being gushing enough when talking about Ann Romney and Christie 3) being overtly critical regarding the rules changes in the GOP, and standning up for the grass roots.
Well, you take your pick.
And, if someone asks, if it was something else than McCain, why didn’t she say that then? my answer would be that she does not want to have an internal fight within the GOP now. Obama has to be defeated. That overrides everything else. But still a little warning to FOX and the GOP that the Tea Party is still alive...

I wish we had 100 perfect Senators. We don’t. I will work with incrementalism. The perfect is the enemy of the good. Overall, he’s done more good than harm. Some of the harm he has done (McCain Feingold) has been undone.
I don’t think he’s great, but I don’t think he is in Kennedy/Obama/Reid territory by a long shot. In short, I think he is too harshly criticized.
Palin redistributed income when she gave Alaskans a check from the oil companies. Palin bought her popularity with a check made out to cash, that’s not conservative, that’s another entitlement.
