In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

I got my old Atari from my mom's house and set it up. The video's a little staticky, but the games like Defender are still fun.
Things are never ataraxic at a ‘Rat convention
Once I sign away my house today, I will be in a state of ataraxia.
An interesting word -
That’s what I aim for. ;-)
First day of SENIOR YEAR for xsbaby, she was mostly ataraxic.
Fun for her. For a little while. For me, the best thing about school starting again is football season.
Went to the Jayhawk game on Friday. The new trend is to start games at 7 instead of 7:30. 5 years ago maybe 2 or 3 schools in the WPIAL started early. Now nearly all of them are.
I don’t like it in August when you have the sun shining in your eyes for most of the first half.
But anyway, here’s the real disturbing thing: there is a boy cheerleader.
In looking ‘round for things that will relax ya,
Don’t wait for lists of jokes your friend will fax ya.
The rule for such a thing,
And for the joy it brings,
Is try to find the state of what ataraxia.
Obama gives the poor ataraxia
Says, “Don’t worry, ‘cause I’ll never tax ya’
Just keep voting dem
Won’t tax you; I’ll tax them
If you do this one thing that I axe o’ ya’”
oh geez.
Atari 2600, too cool.
Recently, I had been fretting and pacing for days on end about an upcoming trip to the M.E.P.S. in St. Louis.
I found that shortly after leaving with my recruiter, I had entered a most peculiar ataraxic state which remained until my early departure the next morning.
Megamania rules!
This message is brought to you by your friends at Hoffmann-LaRoche - makers of mother's little helper.
