There was definitely something different about his affect last night. I mentioned to a friend that I thought he'd drunk too much coffee before the speech.
He came back and said he saw clear signs that Barry had been smoking pot that day.
Can't say I recognize the signs myself but it makes as much sense as too much coffee.
I did not know that.
The day I don’t learn something new is a wasted day IMO.

My niece is a drug counselor and says she will bet her life savings that Nancy Pelosi is a habitual cocaine user. She said she displays all the symptoms, licking of the chops, bugged out eyes, uncontrollable hand movements, odd speech patterns, and wadda ya know.. when Nancy was speaking at that convention, she displayed all those symptoms all except the hand movements which to me was because she was tightly gripping the sides of the podium. Real freakin’ nice. Making decisions for millions of people and she is doing hard core drugs. But noooo, no drug testing for them! We will drug test sanitation workers but not the people who make life altering decisions for millions of people.
Maybe he STOPPED using whatever he’s using to prepare for the second most important speech in his life.

I don’t know about him but getting a glimpse of a replay this morning of Granholm’s speech told me she was on some pretty strong stuff!!! She had to have been tied down or in danger of floating to the ceiling.
The 10 seconds of Plugs’ speech that I watched, he was praising Granholm. They cut to a shot of a female overweight delegate who was nodding vigorously with tears streaming down her face.

I left the room when that woman walked on stage but I have never seen her talk without using her hands - drives me nuts. Did she repeat herself over and over? As tho’ in repeating her words, we’ll maybe believe her!!!
I know what you mean about the mouth actions - I always thought she had something caught in her false teeth. It was on plain view whenever she sat behind presidents at the State of the Union address. Disgusting habit but she’s disgusting anyway!!

Like others have said here, could be a mixture of various mood-altering prescription drugs if there’s any truth to any of this. Given his emotional immaturity and reports of intense, uncontrollable temper, one would think the pressure of the office could in face induce a need for mood-altering drugs in order to allow him to function.
Well, they could possibly refuse to certify an election unless he submitted to a drug test at first, but I think the Supreme Court would toss that out. If you want it, better start drafting an Amendment, I think that’s your only hope.

Not entirely true. Amendment 25, section 4 has language that could be construed to allow Congress to enact a law to establish who may determine that the President is unfit to discharge his duty. It could be argued that as a result, Congress could impose something like a drug test under the auspices that anything the impairs or damages mental capacity could be grounds for (temporary, at least) removal from office.
Am 25 S 4 - Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
I’ve heard it said by people who have had the occasion to get close to him that he does stink. In fact, didn’t Moochelle say he stinks?
