Alvin and Pat Tjosaas, a retired couple in Woodland Hills, Calif., had the bad luck of having their home mistaken for a neighboring foreclosed home and being cleared by contractors hired by Wells Fargo -- not once but twice.

This wouldn’t have happened if Dale Robertson was still doing “Tales of Wells Fargo’’.
Good thing they don’t have a dog, or the Cops may have come by and shot it for good measure.
Ssssshhhhhh. That's next week. It's supposed to be a surprise!
I was going to get a Wells Fargo account to make it quicker to clear my payment on a contract gig where the paying company is in California and I am in Maryland. Well screw that. Bank of America maybe. And I am going to write Wells Fargo in longhand, and tell them why.
Man, you should see the sty that I live in (due to me). How do I contact them to clean it out?
Forget Bank of America!
They tried to charge me $5 to cash a check issued by one of their account holders!
They will NEVER get my business!
$5? Is that all? A neighborhood bank wanted $10.
BOA is just as bad.
You want the Wells Fargo wagon to rob YOU?
This is even sillier than the snippet above reads. It looks like whoever ransacked that house also slept in it with bongs and beer cans.
WF had better eat it all, then worry about getting their contractors’ liability policies to pay up. If those policies aren’t frauds. In no way should these victims have to wait on the contractors’ policies.
Well maybe someone should revise “The Music Man” to take the Wells Fargo wagon song out. It’s giving that group of shysters way too much positive publicity.
If it were me I would go after the contractor(s), Wells Fargo, and the actual lein holder (aka investor) who hired Wells Fargo to manage the loan.
The admission of guilt by Wells Fargo would be the first piece laid in front of the judge.
“I am in Maryland. Well screw that. Bank of America maybe.”
That’s a bad choice!!!
BofA makes more mistakes than any other bank mainkly because the are such low pay and they have a constant turnover of help.
Years ago iI did a lot of contract work on their buildings and had to have an account in BofA.
I never used it for anything but a transfer station for funds from them!!!
That explains their e-accounts. The machines goof up less than the tellers do.
Try Chase, my wife has them and loves them. I’ve had Wells Fargo since 1988 and they treat me like...
We use an NC Credit Union and USAA. Great service and none of the Bank of America trash.
Well, a salute to you for your military service, however USAA would not be possible for me.
Maybe it was a practice run for later on.
“They tried to charge me $5 to cash a check issued by one of their account holders!”
They tried to charge me that amount for a BOA check, from BOA, made out to me, that I tried to cash at BOA.
Having used both BOA and W-F, I infinitely prefer the latter. All banks make mistakes, but BOA never seems to fix the conditions that lead to mistakes.
Better yet, how can you get Wells Fargo to clean it out, then pay you a bunch of damages on top?
