Typo.
They meant Ray Gun.
Crap like this is why Newsweak was sold for $1. You probably couldn’t get that today.
Not outraged but amused. In all probability, Obama is the Democrats Reagan - since Obama is the best they can do . . .
We need a leader who can communicate with them and help them again to see the value of individual freedom (NOT the collectivist version that Obama is peddling), which used to make America a shining city on a hill and a beacon for freedom lighting the way for the rest of the world. Some of those 28% are, no doubt, simply evil. They want the power over others that socialism in all its variants provides to insiders. Most, however, are simply deluded, and we need a leader who can help them to see the light. I hope the leader with that potential is ready for her role soon.
What’s most distressing is that there is no conservative or even unbiased news weekly, on the stand, to counteract. This is the Columbia School of Journalism echo effect. It is having less and less impact as independents get political influence from a variety of sources now.
I won’t look!
“What happened to “Hit the road Barack.”
Even when Romney is sworn in these anti American communists will still, for years to come, create hit pieces on him. Nothing will stop these hard core communists.
I looked at “People” in line at the Walmart today. They say Tom Cruise is sad. *le sigh*
American history for him begins in 1984, when he crossed the Atlantic to go to Harvard's Kennedy School.
He's not up on Americana, and doesn't have many analogies to choose from, so he goes with what he knows.
FWIW, Andrew was ineligible for citizenship because he had AIDS. With changes in the immigration law (and gay marriage) he's on track now, so he's got reasons for loving Obama.
Thought they were out of business.
As I was driving home from work today with the news on the radio, I heard Michelle Obama at a rally say, “It’s gonna take a lot more than four years to get us out of this mess” or something to that effect. I immediately thought about Ronald Reagan and how preposterous it would be to imagine Nancy Reagan making such a statement in 1984. Reagan inherited a real mess — sky high unemployment, rampant inflation and a military in decline at the height of the cold war. Reagan shook things up and turned things around in his first term. He was a class act. He was the opposite of Obama in almost every respect. I will not read this article but as a dyed in the wool Reaganite, I find the premise insulting to Ronald Reagan and to his admirers who are by and large patriots of the highest order and who bear no resemblance to the miscreants who worship Obama.
