By a strange coincidence, both of my children (19 and 20) are having unrelated surgeries in the same hospital right now.
My poor son-in-law is doing everything he can to hold this difficult day together.
I'm in a different state and pulling my hair out with worry. My husband is flying back home tomorrow. I can't go because I'm post-op myself and sick on top of that.
May I please have some prayers sent for all of us? We've been hit with so much (a LOT more than this) this week and we're barely holding it together. The two healthy people are carrying such a heavy load.

Just an update for all of you wonderful prayer warriors:
Daughter is doing GREAT and is home resting. She should be feeling 100% better very soon. This surgery was very much needed.
My son’s doctor noticed something amiss before the surgery and canceled it. He performed more tests all afternoon and they realized that he was misdiagnosed. He’s going to need further tests and a much more involved surgery.
This is a GOOD thing and I’m so glad G-d was watching out! The wrong procedure would’ve made the situation so much worse. I really do believe that G-d intervened to stop further damage from being done.
My hair is a little greyer today. My husband is collecting my son so he can stay with us for a few months and regain his health. He really needs family support right now.
Thank you all so much. Your prayers were VERY encouraging for me and really did help me through this very long day.

I'm VERY happy to read your update...even though I missed it. It's OK...we'll now just pray for total healing all the way around.
Dear Heavenly Father, We ask You to heal Marie’s children. Lord, please give Marie strength and comfort right now. She is in need of Your embrace of compassion and love. In This I Pray. Amen.
***Hang in there, Marie. I realize not being there is worse for you than being right there. Being post-op yourself, try (yes an easy word to type than do) to get some rest. The last thing your children or husband needs is for you to have a relapse or get sick. Hugs, Mom
