Just mentioned on Fox. This is sickening. The drones captured all the horrific moments prior to and after the attack. This was being observed real time.To make matters worse, if possible, US troupes could have been called in to protect the Stevens group within 30 minutes.

The United States had an unmanned Predator drone over its consulate in Benghazi during the attack that slaughtered four Americans — which should have led to a quicker military response, it was revealed yesterday.
“They stood, and they watched, and our people died,” former CIA commander Gary Berntsen told CBS News.
The network reported that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft observed the final hours of the hours-long siege on Sept. 11 — obtaining information that should have spurred swift action.
But as Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three colleagues were killed by terrorists armed with AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, Defense Department officials were too slow to send in the troops, Berntsen said.
“They made zero adjustments in this. You find a way to make this happen,” he fumed.
No, it is not. Imagine what the victims families are thinking. Enough US troupes could have been deployed, within 30 min from Italy, to save Stevens and staff, while the Administration just watched them get slaughtered.

Of course, if this comes up in the debate, we can be sure that Obama will claim that it’s not his fault the person watching the video didn’t get in touch with him. HE would have ordered a decisive response, just as he did with OBL. If he tries this ploy, let’s hope Romney’s prepared to nail him with the evidence it took Obama MANY months to actually pull the trigger on OBL.
Obama had better be careful about that claim. According to sources in the intelligence community, Obama didn't make that call. Leon Panetta did, after convincing others he had the authority.
If true, this will probably come out after the election. Apparently, Panetta was facing a revolt among his own people after Obama (actually Jarrett) vetoed the raid several times. One of them was threatening to go public.
Obama was on the golf course. That's why you see him in casual clothes, sitting in the corner.

I’d love it if Romney could nail him on this during the debate. The problem is, short of Panetta fessing up (hard to picture), Obama can just bob and weave away from this question. That said, I think that in light of how the cover-up about Benghazi has OBVIOUSLY been manufactured, many Undecideds may conclude that this newly-emerging story about the UBL raid might have some merit, whereas if it had come out before the administration’s inept handling of Libya, many would have given him a pass assuming that there’s no way of knowing the truth etc.
