Does Bible Code Predict President Romney? (looks like it)
WND ^ | October 27, 2012 | Joe Kovacs

A well-known Bible-code researcher has bad news for Barack Obama, as he claims hidden texts in the Holy Bible indicate Mitt Romney will be America’s next president.

Moshe Aharon Shak, an orthodox Jew and author of “Bible Codes Breakthrough,” has produced a series of videos on YouTube with his modern analysis of Scripture.

For those not familiar with Bible codes, they are said to be secret messages embedded in the Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament.

Those who claim the codes’ validity say they disclose information about both the past, as well as the future. The messages are decoded when a computer is used to search in a certain pattern, such as every fourth or fifth Hebrew letter within a given matrix.

“The matrix is found in Deuteronomy Chapter 28, verses 13 and 14,” says Shak, a mechanical engineer from Montreal, Canada. “There we find his first name, last name, day and month of birth, and the term ‘president.’ Fifteen terms consisting of 85 letters are found telling a fascinating story.”

Shak says the Hebrew code goes beyond merely stating that Romney will be president, but also describes the kind of leader he’ll be.

“The codes are telling us: a fitting president,” he explains, adding that Romney’s name is associated with the phrase, “the man (is) for Him,” referring to the Master of the universe.

“I suppose that means that he (Romney) will follow His (God’s) ways,” said Shak. “But the term goes both ways. It also means that the Master of the universe will be for him, for Romney.”

The BibleCodesDigest website has looked at Shak’s videos, and says, “Although he claims that the search is done by established methodology guided by scientific principles, there are two critical caveats that must be understood.”

Does this mean Laz is a Hittite?

The plain text is vastly more important, yes, this is absolutely true. There is no getting around that, and anyone who regards this Torah code or Bible code business as foundational to their faith is making a very big mistake. I do love a puzzle, though, and this is one for the ages that seems tantalizingly close to being solvable, so bear with me for a moment.

I haven't looked into this stuff in a while, but Mr. Shak’s name is familiar to me. I do not know his politics, and don't believe he is an American citizen. He is, however, Orthodox if I'm not mistaken.

I go into background and possible motivation because at first glance, the surface text of Deuteronomy 28:13-14 in relation to a Presidential contender just sounds a little too pat, to be honest.

Upon pondering the matter further, it strikes me that it's conditional, though, containing a very big “if,” so it's not necessarily so flattering as it might appear at first blush.

I'd also be interested in seeing another accomplished code aficionado or a group of them take a crack at this, primarily to smoke out any bias that could have been introduced by being overly selective, but also to attempt to extend Mr. Shak’s efforts.

That's a pretty small selection of surface text. There may be other matrices and probably are.

I’m inclined to call B.S. on that because of all the arguments about the possible variant readings of Old Testament manuscripts, I’ve yet to see one that hinges on word divisions in the Hebrew. Also, modern scrolls that are ceremonially used in worship most definitely contain spaces, as well as the occasional hyphen. It is vowel marks that are absent.

As I have seen it done, they search entire books. Versification is a relatively modern convention. It probably so happened that the coincidence claimed landed in those two verses.

Now with Mitt being a Mormon, it is a world too strange for me to fathom. I can tell you about Judaism and about small-o orthodox Christianity. But the Mormons have so many supplemental texts, and allegations swirl that I have no way of fathoming. I don’t regard them as small-o orthodox Christian, though.

Also, Hebrew has something like the inverse of capital letters — it has special ending forms for several of its letters.

The entirety is searched by the program, yes, but a range of skip sequence is specified, primarily lower numbers since it’s believed that lower skip sequence indicates a higher significance for any nformation contained therein. Speed has been a limitation too, but that is increasingly not a consideration.

Regarding the two verses in question, applied to the potential Presidency of Mitt Romney as implied by those verses being the surface text of a “matrix” dealing with the matter, it appears that Romney will be President if he follows the commandments of God, not veering away from them and certainly not following other strange gods.

It’s really quite striking if you think about it.

see for yourself:

http://nephicode.blogspot.com/2010/05/problems-in-translating-ancient-hebrew.html

That’s why some of the letters have an ‘ending form’ to show that it’s the end of a word. There was no other way to tell. Of course there are spaces now.

One example is ‘mem’. It makes the sound of m as in ‘mom’. If it appears at the beginning or middle of a word it looks one way. If it’s at the end of a word, it’s called a mem sofit or a ‘final mem’ and it looks different.

I’m learning Hebrew now. (I have no idea what I’m going to do when they take the vowels away from me!)

A YouTube user asks if different findings might result if the name ‘Willard’ were used instead of “Mitt”.

Well, I ran a full search using “Willard Romney”.

The results came back: “Abortionist, Gun-grabbing, Homosexual-enabling, Big Government Statist. A pox on your country for not nominating a real conservative”.

I like the part where warrior Obama and his warrior wife Michelle saddled their asses and departed. And they took their donkeys too.

From the Book of Laz:

Laz 1:23
12. For then the Prophet Mataz came unto them, and remarked, “I shall hit all of thee, in thy turn, and thou shalt be blessed.”

13. And they lined up, the women, and the men, and the animals of draft, and the animals of slaughter,

14. And they, each in their turn, were hit, and they were all blessed.

And so it was written, and so it was done. And Prophet Mataz founded the nation of HIT. And legion were his progeny. And to this day songs of his greatness are sung. The prophetess Britney joyfully sang “HIT me baby one more time.”

The evaporation of black holes is in no way equivalent to the “big bang”.

That event implies that EVERYTHING, including matter, space, and time was in the singularity.

There was no tunneling or external positron-pair evaporation. There was just a sudden creation of the universe.

Nothing implied here, just a big “what happened??”
