I still feel optimistic about a Romney victory. But if Obama wins next week, whether by cheating or by the stupidity of the electorate, things are going to get much worse in this country. It's quite possible that election rules will be changed and freedom of speech suppressed so much that the forces of conservatism could not win an election again, as Bill Whittle reminds us. So what are your plans in that case? Are you going Galt? How will you change your behavior and your life in the event of an Obama win?
I don’t feel as good about this election as I did a couple of weeks ago....
If somehow zero did pull it off, you’d see the red states move rapidly forward with diminishing the FED dramatically and the fact we haven’t seen any such planning is a good thing.
sometimes things really have to hit bottom. People need to get sick and tired..everyone, and finally wake up and find out that social programs of Big Gov´t will never bring a country´s standard of living UP, it only drags it down. The next 4 years are going to be VERY, very hard. It is a job I think needs to fall squarely on the shoulders of incapable people. Until we can start all over again with people who don´t make a god out of PC mindsets. We need people with scruples, tried traditional ideas and hard working citizens, not food stamp zombies.
I’m pretty sure, regardless of the outcome of the election, our family will go on trying to lead Christian lives, whatever the political weather. I would crawl to the polls on Tuesday to vote as a pro-life Catholic, but I feel very much at peace at this point.
If Obama wins, I think we’ll truly pass the point of no return, and the death spiral of this country will speed up.

I’ve had “If Obama wins...” thoughts too. And my only positive I can have on this is the (bleep)storm Nobama will face over his mishandling of Benghazi.
But then I think of how the media is as guilty as he is as they do not mention this. I think of the cowards (Repubs and Dems) who will ignore this, and I think - I believe - that Obama will literally get away with Murder.
This is THE biggest presidential scandal EVER. Bigger than Watergate. Bigger than the many many Clinton scandals. Even worse than Fast and Furious, which was previously the biggest scandal ever.
And what a shame it is that this is being ignored.

I think Romney will win. But I don’t agree with everyone else that it’s going to be rainbows and hearts when that happens. Romney’s no. 1 priority is going to be suppressing conservatives in the GOP. And it appears no one on FR cares if he does that.

YES! As Christians, we know in whom we believe, and we could be called upon to give our lives for our faith..It has happened many times before and is happening now in other parts of the world.
Finally, someone is thinking past Tuesday.
History is a good teacher about what happens after narcissistic tyrants secure their power and are no longer beholden to the people.
Understanding that, will help make your plans. At the moment, the ONLY difference between White Conservative Christians in this country and Jews in Europe during the 1930’s - is that many of us are armed.
