Where is Mitt Romney's MORMON JESUS? - (vanity)
self - vanity

Posted on 11/13/2012 8:43:45 PM PST by Chance Hart

This will be short and just coming off the top of my head without research post. I am an old man and have in my various business ventures during my life had to deal with every ethnic, religious, agnostic, atheist, etc. group that I can think of. There were none of these groups that gave me more hope in the morality, cohesiveness, respect for others, - on and on than the Mormons (as a whole). After learning about the devotion of the Islamic faith, I could only in retrospect, think that only the Mormons held at least as much true belief in their GOD (Jesus) as the Islamic/Muslim held in their perceived god Allah. Although Romney and his fellow Mormons believe that they themselves will one day be GODS and rulers of their own Planet, it makes me wonder how such a potential GOD and TRUE BELIEVER of his faith in the writings of the Book of Mormon would allow a "community organizer that has never held a job and is out to destroy what we have left in the Country where Mormonism was born go out with not even a Whimper or challenge to the obvious voter fraud that sent him home with his tail betwixt his legs. I want to think the Mormon community will demand that Mitt TRUST in his ALMIGHTY and challenge the attack of EVIL upon him and the rest of civilization! Anyway, comments welcome - BLESS AMERICA! - What's left of it!!! BTW = SMIRNOFF RULES!! :-Þ

As a Mormon, I can tell you that the LDS view about this country's future does not bode well, considering what the Book of Mormon has to say on the subject.

As a Christian, I can state that the Book of MORMON is an interesting little fable.

Even MORMONism gets very few doctrines from it.

The goodies are in D&C and beyond.

Besides, MORMONism's main god can change (and has) changed it's mind about REALLY important things in the past; and MORMONism allows this to happen into the fututre.

In summary; do NOT place your trust in anything that MORMONism has published so far; as it can all change tomorrow.

and I don’t live in a swing state so don’t give me this “not voting for Romney is a vote for Obama” crud.

I find it QUITE amazing that so many berate us for not voting for the non-perfect candidate; yet somehow can't see the hypocracy in calling us non-perfect voters!

This thread wasn’t about conservative vs Romney, it’s a kook anti mormon thread so don’t tell me about civics classes and conservatives.

Alrighty then!!

Office of First President & Living Prophet®:

November 8, 2012

Fellow MORMON Freeper Christians!!

I must apologize and ask for forgiveness from you all.

As you know, we at Headquarters NEVER tell you pew warmers how to vote. It says so right in our press releases. Anyway, we were ALL thrilled to the max when there were two – TWO! – MORMONs being touted in the primaries: Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman.

Talk in our upper chambers high above SLC was how our gods were favoring us with these men; who had prepared their entire lives for an opportunity to save this Nation; which so badly needs guidance: OUR guidance even!  So naturally, I and the other twelve analyzed and discussed the situation.

Consensus was that the voters should listen to the inner urging and vote for the one they wanted; but that seemed to be leaving WAY too much to chance.

I decided, that since I am the ONLY man on earth that can hear GOD’s voice, that I would pray for wisdom and clarity in the matter.

I hadn’t used the fleece in a while, so I questioned GOD with a test. A paper, with Romney on one side and Huntsman on the other was to be placed by the air conditioning vent high above my desk in the sumptuous office the Full Tithers have provided.

When the air would kick in later in the evening, while I was home, the paper would be blown down and whomever GOD wanted would then be visible on the upper surface.
As you can probably guess, when I came in the next day, the paper had landed on my desk, with Mitt’s name on top.

Last night, I was staying late, praying to GOD about how it was even possible that Mitt lost, when the janitorial cleaning crew came in. Being surprised to find me here, they apologized for interrupting me. I said to them, “It mattereth not, as I was about to leave anyway.”

As I was going out the door, the foreman of the crew just happened to mention that my office is ALWAYS so neat and tiny, never anything out of place, that they barely have to do anything to tidy up. Then one of the sweepers said, “Except that time in the spring when we came in to clean and found a paper with Huntman’s name on the floor by your desk. We put it back on your desk and left.

Tommy M.

PS Keep praying that Huntsman will add an “H” to his name. Jon looks so dang effeminate!

Onward to 2016!!!

How the tool will be used has a lot to do with which tool you acquire. If you're going to wear it concealed under clothing, I wouldn't rec. a Glock. If you intend to holster it and keep it around the house and/or car for protection (get a concealed carry license to carry in your car), then a Glock is a superior tool system. You can pick up used Glocks which have been in service as police department pistols, and these are excellent tools that will continue to be reliable despite having been 'in a holster' most of their 'life'.

Take a look at the CZ82 while considering the Glocks. The CZ82 is a used tool with excellent credentials. The CZ82 is avaliablev ia most dealers, and you can tell your dealer to check with Widener's, which is located here in Johnson City, TN. The used models are in excellent condition and still in stock at Wodener's for shipping to a dealer for a nominal fee. The ammo is between a .380 and the 9mm, and hollowpoint rounds are easily obtained. Most of the used ones come with two mags and CDNN has extra mags for order.

The hole should point away from you; directly at the bad guy.

When the little lever is pulled, there will be a load noise.

If you had the hole pointed in the right direction; there will be another hole in the bad guy.

If he is still moving, repeat the pulling of the little lever until he isn’t.

If the load noise does NOT occur after pulling the little lever, the safety may be on or the gun may not have any little brass cylinders in it.

Buy a Ruger 1022 .22lr rifle. Buy two 25 round Ruger mags and two extra 10 round Ruger mags. Practice shooting with that rifle, learning to hit what you aim at.

Buy a good 12 or 20 gage shotgun (I reccommend the Maverick 88 20 gage pump with an 18 1/2 barrel (saw off the long barrel to 19 inches if need be). Buy a couple of hundred 20 gage rounds and practice hitting what you point at. Then load a few #2 buckshot rounds in the shotgun and hit you target with those, then load the mag with those for home defense.

If you want a pistol to carry around, look into the Bersa .380 single stack. But practice often with this tool if you intend to stake your life on it.

If you want a pistol for around the house, buy a .357 revolver with 4 inch barrel and load it with 38 special +P+ hollowpoints.

I’m going to the gun show this weekend with my husband and I’ll take a long what you wrote. I wish my dad was alive, he was police officer and had a few guns. As a kid, I never payed much attention except for the fact he had a gun like James Bond, ( Walter PPK?) and a few revolvers with long barrels.

I’m going to have to get familiar with the local gun club.

I get a laugh out of “where is your Mormom God” now sort of post. As if the Lord ever guaranteed Mormons would win all the elections. I happen to agree with Ether 2:9-12. The times do not look good. Glad you quoted it. Reid does seem to win but it is more of a curse, than not.

Dude, if you are buying a .357, load it with .357 HP. Practice with .38.

For recoil sensitive folks, using 38 special +p+ reduces recoil in a heavier frame such as is built to handle .357 magnum rounds. I load my pistol with .357 JHP and use the same rounds in the lever gun for .357. But this is a person who by her own posts is not a shooter, yet. Load with .38 special for initiail practice and for home defense, that way there are no ‘surprises’ if she has to use the weapon for home defense. You will find that inside sixty feet the ballistics are similar, but the recoil is noticeably reduced.

You are getting good advice from everyone and hopefully you will end up with a variety of guns, for instance maybe your husband’s pistol can be the home defense pistol like a .357, or .45 or something.

I own almost all of the popular guns for the home and have a CCL and a Glock 17 for carry, I have the pistols, the shotgun, the AR-15, the 10/22 and so on, but I am looking into one of these to keep on my person all the time, even when in a robe and pajamas, you might be thinking in those terms, something so small and light that you wear it all day at home, gardening, cleaning house and so on.

Practice, practice, practice ... and when time and money permit, practice some nore. Practice with the gun empty, bringing it to the ready position from whatever holds it, espceially if you intend to wear it around. The more you practice with a tool, the more you have the ability to deal with unforeseen events. i'll give you an example of practicing with the weapon you intend to depend upon.

For years I carried a .22 semi auto for personal defense. I put probably more than two thousand rounds through that tool practicing with it. I got good enough with it that I could draw and fire the wepon at eight inch targets out at 25 yards and keep all rounds, even rapid fire rounds, in an eight inch circle.
The I decided to upgrade to a heavier bullet class, so I bought a Glock 23 gen 3, which is a .40 caliber round. I practiced with 180 grain bullets all the way down to 124 grain bullets, but no matter what I loaded it with, the snappy recoil prevented me from making rapid second and third shots on target at ten yards!
I ordered a replacement barrel from Wolf that turned the 40 cal into a Glock 19. By dropping down to 9mm rounds int he 115 grain weight I find I can make those accurate follow up shots I want. The 'mouse gun' I carried for years had 40 grain bullets in it. I went to 180 grain bullets with the Glock23, I increased the recoil too much. When I stepped it down to a 9mm 115 grain bullet I had found an acceptable recoil reduction but with nearly three times the weight in bullet, which translates into impact and penetration energy on target.

One of the nice things about the Bersa 380 single stack, besides the reasonable price, is an interesting recoil reduction possibly due tot he way the grip fits in the hand and the slide absorbing recoil over a fix barrel which does not rotate/snap up and down when the slide moves along the line of the fired round. I am planning on purchasing one of the Bersa all black thunder 380 pistols for an alternate carry, with an extra mag along for the ride. I have compared the recoil from the CZ82 (which is just a shade more cartridge than the .380) and the Bersa Thunder 380 and the reduction in recoil is greater than just the difference in rounds (CZ82 is a 9x18 and the .380 is approximately a 9x16 or seventeen depending upon the ammo).

There is something about that Bersa balance that I really like. Both pistols are fixed barrel weapons, with the CZ having a 12 round magazine and double action firing system (Bersa is double action also, meaning you can carry a full mag and one up the spout and start your shooting by just pulling the trigger, without having to cock the hammer then pull the trigger to fire the first round (as with a classic 1911 which is single action only). The Bersa Thunder 380 also looks a lot like the original James Bond gun.

Pistols are close quarters weapons/tools. As such the best one for you will be a personal thing which requires you to test different versions and settle on what you can handle competently and efficiently for quick results. At home, a pistol is merely the tool you use to get to your shotgun or battle rifle.

BTW, if there are other questions you have concerning these tools, feel free to ask. Freeper shooters are a wealth of knowledge and experience.

For recoil sensitive folks, using 38 special +p+ reduces recoil in a heavier frame such as is built to handle .357 magnum rounds.

I find little difference in recoil in my SP101. Just a louder bang and muzzle flash. What my wife found was the trigger pull was too hard for her to be comfortable with (after range time).

Ive discovered that semi's are coming with a first shot double action configuration. That first shot seems to have a lighter trigger pull than my wheel gun, then it goes semi after that. Another option.

I’m thinking house or car. My concealed carry is my Bersa .380. Slim and a great gun. I use hollowpoints for it.

My state is as issue so I have a concealed carry permit, I don’t need one for my truck. I also travel a lot and keep up on the law and reciprocity. My state permit is valid in 28 other states so it makes traveling in the West pretty easy.

I’ll check out the CZ82. Thanks.
